‘Weaponising Anti-Semitism’ author and Declassified’s Kennard dissect scam and purge next week

Audrey White, Asa Winstanley and Matt Kennard will speak at Liverpool’s legendary Casa to

Journalist Asa Winstanley, the author of Weaponising Anti-Semitism – the forensic analysis of the ‘Labour antisemitism’ con and the Labour purge it has been used to justify – will meet chair (and terror of Keir Starmer) Audrey White, who was one of a number of left activists repeatedly libelled during the smear and successfully sued the Jewish Chronicle for substantial damages, and Declassified UK investigative journalist and author Matt Kennard on Tuesday evening next week to discuss right-wing ‘Labour’ ‘leader’ Keir Starmer’s purge of the Labour left on the pretence of antisemitism.

The event takes place at Liverpool’s famous Casa bar at 29 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BQ, founded by socialist dockers after the city’s dockyard strikes, from 6pm on Tuesday 10 October, during Labour’s annual conference. Previous left and pro-Palestinian events during Labour conferences have seen attempts by right-wing and pro-Israel groups to disrupt them, so it promises to be an interesting evening in more than one sense. Venues have also been pressured by right-wing groups to try to prevent discussion of Winstanley’s book, but as a left-wing venue the Casa is expected to hold firm.

The antisemitism smear continues to be propagated by pro-Israel right-wingers and the UK media, even though it has been repeatedly discredited – including by the formal ‘Forde Inquiry’ reluctantly set up by Keir Starmer and ignored by his faction ever since.

Signed copies of Winstanley’s book will be on sale and the panel will take questions. Entry is free, so an early arrival is recommended.
