Video: May, Rudd debate during #PMQs who resign. Even BBC says both in play

who me

Jeremy Corbyn – as even a prominent Labour right-winger acknowledged today – hammered Theresa May during Prime Minister’s Questions over the issue of the hugely-abused Windrush generation:

Corbyn relentlessly pushed May over her and her successor as Home Secretary’s conscious and racist mistreatment of UK citizens legally in this country – and rounded off by demanding of the Speaker that ‘she’ resign.

Rudd and May appeared to be confused about which of them should go:

Of course, there’s an easy – and perfectly logical – solution to that ‘conundrum’. May instigated the policies that have led to such distress for Windrush citizens, while Rudd continued and intensified them.

They must both go.

And this evening, astonishingly, even the BBC – which routinely covers for Tory lies and did so for May’s PMQs lie about Windrush last week – is discussing exactly that as a perfectly realistic scenario.

  1. I’m no expert but I’ve never heard of bowling out 2 bats with one ball – although I suppose they are old ones.
