Cooper goes to S*n to announce mass immigrant deportation crackdown

Starmer’s red Tory government has quickly shown its true colours, allocating 1,000 staff to targeting ‘undocumented’ immigrants

Right-wing Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has followed her boss’s example by writing for the anti-worker Murdoch S*n – to announce a mass crackdown on ‘undocumented immigrants’.

Cooper, who has previously promoted fake news to attack protesters, said she has allocated a thousand staff into a crackdown programme that will see officers raid car washes, nail bars, salons and similar workplaces to seize people for ‘fast-track deportations’. Cooper writes that she has:

moved staff instead into a new Returns and Enforcement programme to increase returns of those with no right to be here and to make sure rules are respected and enforced, starting with an increase in illegal working raids. We’ve directed Immigration Enforcement to intensify their operations over the summer, with a focus on… illegal working here in the UK including in car washes and in the beauty sector.

And we are drawing up new plans for fast track decisions and returns for
safe countries. Most people in this country want to see a properly controlled and
managed asylum system… but where those who have no right to be in the
country are swiftly removed.

Predictably, the move has delighted racists but horrified those concerned about human rights and the horrific situations many have fled without being able to gain asylum in the UK. The UK government categorises countries such as Azerbaijan as ‘safe’, despite extra-judicial murders, arbitrary imprisonment, persecution and torture being thoroughly documented by human rights groups and even the US government.

Last year, Cooper sided with far-right then-Home Secretary Suella Braverman to attack football pundit Gary Lineker for criticising the Tories’ nazi-like rhetoric about asylum seekers. Cooper also sided with the Tories’ ‘Stop the boats’ dogwhistle, treating asylum seekers as a problematic phenomenon rather than as desperate people fleeing persecution and starvation.

A year earlier, she attended a junket thrown by the owners of Celotex, the firm that made the cladding that killed more than seventy people, most of them immigrants or from ethnic minorities.

Her boss Keir Starmer has set a disgusting tone for what now passes for the Labour party, amplifying Tory racism and criticising the Tories only for not being efficient enough in targeting foreigners. He is now making his intention to be a more efficient racist scapegoater of vulnerable immigrants clear and Cooper appears to be a perfectly eager assistant.

  1. Let Cooper and Starmer’s extraordinary prioritisation of identifying undocumented immigrants be A WARNING:

They know who they feel revulsion towards and they will be ruthless in their suppression of them.

Thing is, there but for the grace of G….

    1. Not all that long ago that Starmer was promising no collaboration with the Sun.
And Cooper of course was part of Blair’s New Labour’s racist imperialist team slaughtering and killing indigenous people of colour in their own homelands and beyond. In our racist media she is somehow respectable.
      Dispicable!

  2. Are there no depths that this party will not sink to? How can anyone who considers themselves socialist remain in this gutter trawling crew. I suppose that the benefits and largesse of being a councillor r mp outweigh personal beliefs and lifelong wishes for a better world for all. I don’t get this attitude at all. How do they sleep?

    1. Yeah, Cooper and Lammy’s dirty money/freebies from the sellotape makers of Grenfell cladding, Celotex, shames them.

Greatest challenge to Starmer Cooper and Lammy’s davos administration?
“Events, my dear boy, events” and public solidarity with Palestinian people. Solidarity Palestine!

      1. Events indeed.

Like the rest of the marionette’s across Europe, Herr Starmer – only last week – tied himself and the rest of the country alongside him to the sinking ship of the Washington Blob’s senile frontman, who is now the biggest White elephant on the planet:

Every European leader, including Starmer, must be wearing brown trousers right now, as no one will have a clue as to who the hell is actually in charge of the shit show that is taking place across the Atlantic.

Because it certainly ain’t someone in the office of President who is not actually fit to re-stand for that position alongside a VP who never won a single Primary vote.

      2. The Democrats appear to have rallied behind Kamala Harris

In a show of party unity, state convention delegations have declared their support for Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee. These endorsements represent more than enough delegates to clinch the party’s nomination.
Ms. Harris most likely has more support than these declarations indicate. Individual delegates have said they intend to vote for Ms. Harris, but their state delegations have not yet collectively done the same.
The state party endorsements represent 75 percent of the 3,949 delegates who will vote on the first ballot at the party convention.

      3. I see the turkeys are voting for an early Thanksgiving this year.

  3. These creatures are beyond contempt they have no morals at all monies rule and they ain’t given it up tony bloody Blair’s puppets
