Starmer disliked by all age groups, poll finds

Even older, more right-wing voters dislike or despise ‘Labour’ ‘leader

Keir Starmer’s approval rating among the public is negative among all age groups, according to the latest YouGov poll, speaking volumes of the impact he makes when seen by the public and for the effect of his ‘red Toryism’.

Among 18-24yos, 25-49yos and 50-64yos, Starmer’s approval levels are significantly negative:

And among pensioners, who traditionally lean more rightwards, the approval gap is enormous, a massive 28 points:

Importantly, the trend is also overwhelmingly negative, with every age group having worsened since the start of the year. That takes quite some doing, but betrayal, dishonesty, breaking every promise and trying to cover your moral and political vacuum and police-state/pro-privatisation fetishes with tweets about football clearly are not playing well.

The more that people see of Keir Starmer, as Skwawkbox and others have long said, the less they like him. Unsurprisingly.
