Starmer runs to the S*n again

Betrayal of Liverpool and all working people continues

‘Labour leader’ Keir Starmer has again cosied up to Rupert Murdoch’s S*n – the rag boycotted by Scousers because of its vile lies about Liverpool fans and the victims of the Hillsborough disaster.

On Tuesday night, Starmer donned his tuxedo and took his wife to the paper’s awards night, which claimed he was ‘thrilled’ to be attending:

According to a member of his local party (CLP), the CLP was told that Starmer was unable to attend their gathering on the same evening because he had to attend an ‘important meeting’:

The people of Merseyside – including councillors and Hillsborough survivor Ian Byrne MP – condemned Starmer for his collusions with the Murdoch rag, which came after a weasel-worded ‘promise’ during the Labour leadership campaign not to consort with it (but only for the duration of the campaign). That promise, like all his others, was quickly abandoned when Starmer took the inexcusable decision to write a column for what is often called ‘the Scum’ on Merseyside.

Starmer’s oily collaboration with the right-wing paper also saw him famously and rightly shredded by Liverpool pensioner activist Audrey White, which was captured on video in all its glory after Starmer had slunk into the city to schmooze with an audience of rich business owners.

The party’s recent, failed attempt to rig Byrne’s deselection as West Derby MP was attributed by many to a revenge bid for Byrne’s laudably outspoken condemnation of Starmer’s betrayal.
