As Skwawkbox reported last week, Press Gang journalist Paddy French will defend his description of John Ware’s Panorama programme ‘Is Labour antisemitic?’ at the High Court in November. Ware is suing after French said the programme, which featured among its ‘whistleblowers’ at least two former party staff accused in a leaked Labour report of hindering Corbyn’s efforts to combat antisemitism – and a woman recorded by an undercover Al Jazeera reporter discussing beating up black left-wing Jewish activist Jackie Walker – was ‘rogue journalism’. French described the case as a ‘unique opportunity for the issue of antisemitism in Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party to be explored in a forensic setting’ and Pink Floyd musician Roger Waters said it was ‘fundamentally important’.
Last month, Skwawkbox went to London to cover MP Claudia Webbe’s appeal against her magistrates’ court conviction on a single count of harassment, as well as former Labour staffer Elaina Cohen’s tribunal accusations against Labour right-winger Khalid Mahmood. Its reporting, on both those cases and particularly the content and outcome of the Webbe hearing, stood out in stark contrast to the ‘mainstream’ media narrative designed to shore up the Establishment version of events and which ignored or skewed large parts of the evidence.
So Skwawkbox will again go to London to cover the four-day case between French and Ware, who dropped a similar case against former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn after Corbyn’s supporters raised a huge sum for his legal defence.

Further, this video has emerged, on the lengthy delay of the publication of The Forde Report – the inquiry into The Leaked Labour Party Report. There’s a lot of information in it, and you have to listen very carefully. Stand out for me was the involvement of Michael Ashcroft, in Belize, which raises more questions. Why is/was he involved in a Labour Party inquiry, for one.
Do mean possessing a copy of the the leeked Labour Party report is a breach of the Data Protection legislation in the same way that Labour’s loss of thousands of it’s members personal data is?

Izzy Lenga – who was a member of JLMs National Executive Committee at the time, and still is – said she was subjected to anti-semitic abuse every day. She didn’t say WHERE she was subjected to the anti-semitic abuse every day, but she’s a JLM officer, and if she says that’s what happened, then it’s an open and shut case.
Thinks……. I wonder if the anti-semitic abuse continued every day AFTER the Panorama programme aired? Funny how she never at any point thought to record it though.
PS If I remember correctly, seven of the ten Jewish LP members who participated in the programme were JLM officers, and one of the other three was a former JLM officer (up until a few months before the programme aired); but for some strange reason John Ware and Co decided not to mention the fact (in captions) in the programme.
