GMB general secretary Gary Smith’s email to Labour ‘leader’ is short and to the point
Keir Starmer today suffered a ‘car crash’ meeting with union leaders this afternoon, as his calamitous build-up to a ‘make or break’ conference lurched from bad to worse. GMB boss Gary Smith was reportedly one of the most infuriated with Labour’s notional, disastrous ‘leader’.
But Skwawkbox can reveal that Starmer had already suffered another skewering by the union’s new general secretary – in the form of an email warning Starmer that his decision to accredit the Murdoch S*n for conference was ‘staggering’ and ‘totally unacceptable’:
According to insiders present at the ‘TULO’ meeting, Starmer was all over the place – incurring the fury of union leaders by his evasive inability to answer a single question intelligibly.
Just possibly, Starmer arrived at the meeting already ‘frit’ at the prospect of meeting the angry Smith and his colleagues – a fear that turned out to be entirely apt.
The worst Labour leader ever – until he wakes up each morning and decides to outdo himself.
