Cash-snaffling, privatisation-loving, Diane-Abbott-abusing Health Secretary and Keir Starmer mini-me Wes Streeting went onto TV screens this morning to tell pensioners that they should ‘wrap up warm’ against expected arctic weather this weekend – and to remind them how lucky they are that Chancellor Rachel ‘Freeze’ Reeves – beneficiary of many thousands of pounds of public money for her own fuel bills, decided to ‘protect’ the vital Winter Fuel Allowance WFA) ‘for the poorest’.
What this really means in human-speak is that Reeves decided to cut the WFA for ten million pensioners, many of whom are too poor to retire and exceed the meagre ‘hard cut-off’ threshold by only a couple of pounds a week.
And what he left out altogether is that Starmer’s Labour knows that doing this will kill at least 4,000 pensioners every winter because the analysis they inherited from the Corbyn era shows it – Labour doesn’t now do impact assessments for its policy decisions in case they expose what they’re up to, but they have the recent data. The number of yearly victims will probably be higher now, because the research was done before the energy companies exploited geopolitics to inflate fuel prices and fatten their profits, but 4,000 is a base figure.
So let’s remind Mr Streeting of his words with some proper (literal) background:
Monstrous is as monstrous does. Read more here:

Horrible, paper-mashy-headed shrieking fuckwit who perpetually rolls the last word of every bastard sentence (as does reeves).
Wrish aomeone would wrap that gobshite up, preferably In a hopper bag filled with aggregate and lashed in the Thames, like a litter of unwanted kittens.
….What? It’s better than cremating them, innit, weasley? 😙🎶
Screeching, emulating that other fucking awful wannabe diva, edwina currie…

How times haven’t changed – unlike the views of the abject shitbags of the smarmerite labour party.
No misfortune could ever befall upon any/all of them that would ever be anywhere close enough to ameliorate my loathing of them.

Thanks PW. I forgot to mention the broxtowe labour shop on the broxtowe mass resignation thread.
Although the last example of smarmerite skinflint shithousery actually DID come as a shock. 70 years of loyal service and the rats wouldn’t even see the fella off with a wreath.
Utter scum.
Anyways, highly recommended viewing – especially for the hard of reality, aka wee steve gobshite.
There is no audio on the 45-second Streeting clip. Anyone else having this problem? And the subtitles are obscured by the time-elapsed meter at the bottom of the screen.
Not that I’m disappointed or anything!
Check the bottom left corner after starting playback, Tim.
If its dots then it’s muted. If its vertical lines then there’s a problem with your sound/playback setting.
But I wouldn’t bother listening to a slightly more baritone version of reeves’ accent & drawl.
Horrible whiny voice gives me an urge to harm fluffy creatures, so it does.
