Keir Starmer has announced that the UK will be boycotting the 79th Nagasaki Nuclear Memorial anniversary in Japan – because Japan uninvited Israel, because of the occupying power’s genocide in Gaza, and invited a Palestinian delegate instead.
This, apparently, is so unacceptable a crime that war-happy Starmer won’t participate. But then, he agreed that Israel has a right to starve two million Palestinian civilians in Gaza, so what’s a few hundred thousand incinerated Japanese civilians in the cold, unfeeling eyes of the Kid Starver, compared to the wishes of Israel – a country that stole uranium and technology for its own nuclear weapon and tried to equip South Africa with a nuclear weapon to fend of its Black population’s demands for equality and freedom? He’s happy to boycott Japan when he helped the Tories with a ban on councils boycotting Israel.
Starmer is a clear and present danger to the safety of our nation and the world.

It is reasonable to surmise that the point of posting this link is to point out that the Starmer Junta is not alone in taking this position, and that the rest of the minority of the planet that claim’s itself as the totality of the “International Community” has also boycotted the anniversary.
However, your post, Billy, fails to address the key issue of whether this is morally and ethically reasonable in the context of the extreme Zionist faction that has taken over not just the rogue state of Israel but the entire Collective Western Oligarchical political and media ruling class which is cheerleading a genocide and waging a war of military, economic and cultural terror on the rest of the world to impose its own totalitarian will not just on its own populations but also everyone else?

Rather than being ambiguous on this point by leaving readers to formulate their own interpretation, it would be more honest of you to make your position explicit, Billy.
I cannot see any logic in inviting Israel. If the rest of the G7 play silly games, ie skulking on behalf of that there genocidal nasty apartheid state, then again they just show themselves up to be real twats.
If there are two sides, you can bet your house on Starmer choosing the wrong one. Inept, incompetent, self-centred, autocratic. I read lots of comments from people now regretting having vote for him and HIS party.
But Israel is just defending itself, and obviously that necessitates killing tens of thousands of women and children, including pregnant women, new-born babies, babies in general and toddlers and infants etc, along with the elderly and disabled and sick and noncombatant males.
And when will Hamas learn not to set up command posts at schools and hospitals given that Israel keeps bombing such locations anyway, and they – Israel – aren’t deterred from doing so by the fact that there are thousands of people sheltering in such locations (irony alert).
Needless to say, in a scenario in which Hamas kept using schools and hospitals where thousands of civilians are sheltering as command posts and Israel kept bombing such locations anyway and killing the Hamas fighters situated there (along with dozens and dozens of civilians), then you would of course very soon stop using such locations as the fact that thousands of civilians are sheltering there doesn’t deter Israel from bombing them. In other words, if sheltering behind thousands of civilians DOESN’T deter Israel from targeting and bombing them – ie Hamas fighters – then it would of course be pointless for Hamas fighters to do so, and illogical and suicidal as such. And Israel and BN and his fascist buddies are of course lying through their mass-murdering nasty rotten teeth.

I just went onto Al Jazeera’s website to check out about the school bombing and, as such, came across an article in which it says the following, which is the standard response by Israel whenever they bomb a shool or a hospital:
The Israeli military claimed its air force on Saturday struck a “command and control centre” that “served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists and commanders” at al-Tabin school.
It did not provide evidence and said it had taken steps to reduce the risk of harming civilians while dismissing the death toll from Palestinian officials as inaccurate.

Well the obvious question is how the fuck would THEY know how many people were killed – ie know that they were inaccurate!
