Guterres says food, water and medical must be allowed to reach Gazans with ‘no time to lose, every moment counts’. Keir Starmer instead backed war crime
After Labour’s hard right, ‘Israel right or wrong’ Keir Starmer told LBC that he backed Israel’s ‘right’ to cut off Gaza’s food and water and that this could somehow be done within the bounds of international law – but it is quite clear that such action is a war crime of ‘collective punishment’ under international law. It seems Starmer is not satisfied with starving more than a million poor UK children and wants to add Gaza’s children too.
UN Secretary General António Guterres has issued a statement slapping down Starmer and other supporters of war crimes, stating emphatically that food, water and medical aid must be allowed into Gaza right now, with no room for delay:
The people of the UK currently have a choice of which backer of apartheid war criminals to elect into Downing Street.
