Evans organises first NEC meeting with new disability rep – upstairs with no lift

Labour right’s disdain for disability

Labour’s right-wing acting general secretary David Evans is responsible for all administrative arrangements around National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings. Such as organising meeting rooms.

Labour’s new Disabled Members Representative had her first meeting today, but as she tweeted in surprise she arrived to find that the meeting involved climbing stairs from reception – with no lift:

  1. If Ellen is from the left side of the party let’s hope this was a mistake and not deliberate by Evans.

  2. Evans gave no thought whatsoever to the access requirements of people with disabilities attending this vital meeting. This highlights his lack of competence and lack of concern for the needs of others others. He couldn’t organise a booze up in a brewery.

    1. Yes but he’s very good at witch-hunting the left from the party on spurious charges. Which Starmer and the right are more interested in.

  3. evans’s must have rats for neighbours because only a sewer-resident would think that to be okay!

    1. Even rats would say:“There goes the neighbourhood” if Evans moved nextdoor
