Labour right’s disdain for disability

Labour’s right-wing acting general secretary David Evans is responsible for all administrative arrangements around National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings. Such as organising meeting rooms.
Labour’s new Disabled Members Representative had her first meeting today, but as she tweeted in surprise she arrived to find that the meeting involved climbing stairs from reception – with no lift:

Evans gave no thought whatsoever to the access requirements of people with disabilities attending this vital meeting. This highlights his lack of competence and lack of concern for the needs of others others. He couldn’t organise a booze up in a brewery.

evans’s must have rats for neighbours because only a sewer-resident would think that to be okay!

In future, to address this error, wheelchairs will be assessed on entry and banned if found to be left-leaning.
