Unite wins first round as BA agrees to come to table over job plans

Union Unite has won the first round of its fight to save the jobs and conditions of around 40,000 British Airways workers.

Unite’s threat of legal action, if BA fails to withdraw claims about the union’s conduct in an unrelated dispute, that Unite says are false, remains open.
