Yesterday, the SKWAWKBOX published, with her consent, a recording of an utterly vile antisemitic message sent to left-wing activist Jenny Manson, Chair of Jewish Voice for Labour.
That article sparked a string of messages from people claiming to identify the speaker.
The information has been passed to Ms Manson and to the police. No further details will be published here at this point to avoid any potential compromising of the investigation.
The SKWAWKBOX understands that the police intend to pursue the case swiftly.
A huge number of people also expressed sympathy and solidarity with Ms Manson.

My money’s on a whole bunch of ‘tips’ anonymously naming prominent left wing Labour members.
It’s easy in these torrid times to pay unfortunates to do the dirty work. The people behind all of this are very bright and pretty good at the dirty stuff- novichock- excepted. Cheers.
Would be interesting to know if any of the tips named the same person.
Hang on, let’s not make any evidence free assumptions, even in jest, there’s too much of that coming from the smearers. But let’s also hope that the perpetrator is found soon – and that that leads to less of this appalling treatment of the brave JVL members like Jenny who are having to endure it.
I trust that those who have been very vocal in their support of non socialist Jews who receive anti semetic abuse will be equally supportive of Jenny a socialist Jew who has been subjected to this vile rant.
Apparently Jess Phillips sent Luciana Berger dozens of messages of support and solidarity when she was on the receiving end of abuse . I hope Jess ,Luciana ( and Margaret Hodge and Tom Watson ) express similar support and solidarity with Jenny..
