A short video captured today as Theresa May tried to sell her lamest-of-ducks deal to MPs displayed in unmistakable terms the depth of the rift that has opened up between May and her erstwhile DUP allies.
Sky News captured the candid, incredulous reaction of the DUP’s leader in the Commons, Nigel Dodds, as May completed her ‘answer’ to a question from MPs – and his contempt could scarcely have been more plainly written on his face:

It’s not clear which is deeper – the rift between the DUP and Theresa May, or the hole in which the feeble PM finds herself still digging.
