In a dramatic last-gasp turnaround, Labour’s leadership has retrieved the situation by delaying a binding vote until after the party’s annual conference this month in Liverpool.

I wonder whether this code must be ratified by conference, if does it should be singled out and voted out. Who cares what trouble the right will make of it.

Imagine if a Tory politician was caught on camera ranting antisemitic abuse. The antisemitism hot-air balloon built to smear Corbyn would be fatally wounded. Hot air would escape out of it causing it to crash to the ground.
