Announcement of the results in the election of nine members to Labour’s National Executive Committee (NEC) were widely expected to be announced around midday today – which then went back to 2pm.
2pm passed and still no announcement – and the SKWAWKBOX now understands no full results will be announced until around 4pm.
Unconfirmed reports broken by the SKWAWKBOX suggest another clean sweep for the left slate candidates – but the continuing delay will be raising tension levels among the party’s majority left, in case some challenge or other complication is causing it.
