Seems Coyne hasn’t yet told Twitter followers court decision went against him

After the March Certification Officer hearing into his complaint that the Unite General Secretary election that he lost last year should never have been held, right-winger Gerard Coyne tweeted to his followers

The tweet – and the press release that accompanied it – bore almost no relation to the hearing that took place – to the point that Unite consulted lawyers about the claims.

However, the tweet also contained a promise: “I will share any news with you as soon as I receive it.”

Last Friday the Certification Officer, retired judge Jeffrey Burke, announced his decision that not only was Coyne’s claim unfounded, it was unreasonable.

Four days later, Mr Coyne still does not seem to have ‘shared any news’ with his Twitter followers – although he did send an email to his mailing list that indicated his likely intent to pursue the rest of his case, even though he is said to have nothing new to offer that hasn’t already been defeated – and turned back on him – at earlier hearings.

  1. Has he blamed the ref yet? Corbyn?
If some Blair-like entity’s funding him he probably has to do what he’s told.

  2. Coyne promised to “share any news with you as soon as I receive it”.

He has failed to honour that promise.

He is a person whose word cannot be trusted.

This shows that nobody can believe a word Coyne says.

  3. Just another example of the sense of entitlement of the Blairite tendency. They cannot believe that they have lost. For them it goes against all nature. It is their world, they are in the right, they are the moderates, how could things possibly be otherwise.
You could almost feel sorry for them.
