Mail asks Twitter user for permission to use his video. The response is heroic

Composer Nick Harvey shot a short video of his two children enjoying the thick snow brought in by the ‘Beast from the East’ weather system and published it on Twitter:

The MailOnline tweeted to ask permission to use his video on its website – and Nick’s responded in a fashion that those who despise the Daily Mail for its tone and content will consider little short of heroic:

  1. He should check. I know of one person who was asked for permission as above, and before he said ‘yes’ – or ‘no’ – the video was on their website, with no credit at all. He got the thing altered in the end, so that his name was on every frame. But he had to fight for it.
    Never trust the Smelly Mail.

  2. A modern day hero telling the hate filled bile rag exactly what we’d all like to tell it . . .
    Give that man a medal . . .
