A landmark analysis of Tory NHS failings published this afternoon by Dr Eoin Clarke revealed one hundred areas in which the Tories have failed or actively damaged the NHS.
One shocking revelation among many, as the NHS faces the likelihood of yet another huge winter crisis, is the fact that the amount of NHS resources devoted to private treatment has increased by thirty-eight percent in the past seven years.
The analysis references the Department of Health’s own Annual Report and Accounts for the period to demonstrate the increase.
Comment
While it is true that the private treatment generates income, NHS spending in real terms has not kept pace with inflation and the Tories have closed hospitals and other treatment facilities, meaning that the private treatment has diverted resources away from NHS patients who needed it.
In her end of year message, Theresa May spoke of ‘our precious NHS‘. It seems that what she means by ‘our‘ and ‘precious‘ is not the same as the rest of us.

I keep asking the question! Why are we still putting up with Government which is quite blatantly going against the people’s wishes? If nothing is done soon then we will be left with nothing to defend or build upon! Time for them to go!
