The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has announced that it has identified, and formally filed a war crimes complaint with the International Criminal Court (ICC) against, the Israeli military official allegedly responsible for the killing of Hind Rajab, the six-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab murdered, along with her family, by more than 350 machine-gun bullets fired by a tank just metres from their car.
Analysis showed the tank crew was fully able to see there were children in the car and the heart-breaking audio of the murder, via Hind’s tearful phone call to emergency services, made the case known worldwide – although still ignored by the majority of the UK media.
In a statement, the HRF named Colonel Benny Aharon, who until recently commanded the occupation army’s 401st Armoured Brigade, as the officer directly responsible for the operation that targeted Hind’s family in their car in Gaza City’s Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood on 29 January last year – and murdered the paramedics who tried to reach them despite them obtaining clearance from the occupation to do so.
The foundation said its complaint comes after a year-long investigation that the troops and commanders involved in the murders, all of whom were under Aharon’s command. It announced the filing of the case on Friday, which would have been Hind’s birthday, as Diab Abu Jahjah, head of the Hind Rajab Foundation explained:
This is not an act of revenge, but a legal and moral duty toward a child who was killed while pleading for help.
Today, Hind should have been blowing out birthday candles. Instead, we are revealing the identity of her killer, and we will pursue him with facts and law.

I know all soldiers in all wars do dreadful things, but this isn’t war just a massacre of innocent civilians and so many children. How do these people live with themselves? Many many must have children themselves, yet seemingly actually enjoy murdering Palestinian children? Will there be an epidemic of PTSD and a huge collective guilt later? Or are they so devoid of any empathy that they have no feelings at all? It certainly seems like the latter.
Utter shame on Starmer and his government. He lost my support a long long time ago, actually never had it, but even with his complete ****up on the domestic front, his stance on Palestine must surely be the last straw for any right thinking person.
Sadly, soldiers do not have a monopoly on this kind of behaviour, as the example of the hundreds of thousands of armed civilian Zionist zealots on the West Bank and throughout the Israeli stolen country of Palestine demonstrates.
An issue not limited to Gaza and the West Bank as we see in the “moderate” Jihadist’ head choppers currently raping and filling mass graves in what was Syria with the bodies of men, women and children of Christian, Alawite, Druze and other minorities using our money and arms supplied courtesy of our degenerate so-called leaders and cheered on and lauded by our media.

Apparently a load of them are refusing their call-ups. Whether that’s on grounds of conscience I’m not sure, given that the consensus amongst the vast majority of (jewish) israelis is for supporting the genocide.
The only ‘collective guilt’ you’ll get from them is if israel is defeated in a war; and given they have nukes and the Arab nations don’t…
