Occupation’s claim that rescue convoy was ‘suspicious’ and ‘without emergency lights’ exposed as complete fabrication

‘There is no God but God. Forgive me mother, this is the path I chose to help people, God is great.’ Those were the last words of one of sixteen Red Crescent paramedics and Civil Defence rescue workers as their convoy came under heavy fire from Israeli invasion troops in Rafah, Gaza last week.
All of the medical and rescue personnel were killed, at least some executed while bound, their bodies buried in a pit and their ambulances crushed and covered as the war criminals sought to hide their crime – but the occupation regime tried to avoid blame by claiming that the ambulances and fire trucks had been ‘advancing suspiciously’ ‘without headlights or emergency signals’.
But phone footage filmed by one of the victims as they came under attack exposes this claim as an outright lie – all the vehicles had their headlights and emergency lights lit and were wearing ‘hi-viz’ jackets. Warning: the footage is deeply traumatic:
As Jewish comedian Alexei Sayle said in December 2023, only a couple of months after Israel’s genocide in Gaza began, the Israeli regime and its apologists ‘lie and they lie and they lie and they lie’. And they murder, murder, murder, then they lie some more.
Meanwhile, the Starmer government enables, equips and assists the murderers and helps the US attack Yemen, the one country obeying its obligations under international law to do all it can to prevent the genocide – while waging a war of persecution and prosecution and against journalists and others in the UK who speak out against the endless murder and atrocities.

On the subject of fabrications, the Guardian recently did a correction of a claim that Andy Peebles had been the last person to interview John Lennon before he was shot dead back in 1980. The statement had originally appeared in Peebles’ obituary following the sad news of his death.
However, two things that were not corrected were that Lennon was shot outside the Dakota Building and that he was shot by Mark Chapman. These two ‘facts’ are crucial to obscuring the fact that the shooting was a CIA operation.
Credible claims of CIA involvement first surfaced as long ago as 1989 in a book by Fenton Bresler and, more recently, David Whelan published a book on the subject called: “Mind Games: The Assassination of John Lennon.”
