Content warning: horrific scenes as Israel bombed and burned children
Western governments have stood by this week as Israel has continued to slaughter Palestinians and particularly children, with more than a hundred kids a day murdered and many more maimed. Some governments have done even worse than stand by – Keir Starmer’s regime has actively aided Israel in its war on Gaza’s civilians and the US continues to provide huge amounts of bombs to the occupation and has itself bombed Yemen, the one country in the region living up to its obligations under international law to do everything it can to prevent genocide.
The occupation has repeatedly bombed schools and shelters, including when it targeted a destroyed school while rescuers desperately tried to reach the trapped and wounded, but one of the most horrific Israeli crimes this week has been the targeted attack on a United Nations children’s clinic in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Many children were killed outright, but one section of the clinic that was not completely flattened was set on fire – and the awful sound of terrified children screaming as they burned was caught in footage of the devastation:
Even among those who escaped being burned there was horror. One woman told Al Jazeera journalist Anas al-Sharif how she managed to get out from under rubble in the clinic only to find that all her children but one were dead – most burned and her two-week-old daughter beheaded:

Israel’s propagandists continue, laughably, to deny that Israel is targeting children, but the bombing has been relentless, both by day and at night, including at least ten bombings in one night on a single small area of Gaza City:
Israel invented stories of beheaded and burned Israeli babies on 7 October 2023 that have been completely disproven but continue to be regurgitated by its apologists despite the military’s admission that most of the Israeli casualties of that day were killed by the occupation military – including the children.
But Palestinian babies and children have been beheaded and burned in vast, appalling numbers and more are killed every day while the world’s governments look on or, worse, cover for and participate in genocide:
This SHOULD be top and centre of all BBC News programmes – the corporation that we pay enormous sums to, to bring us PROPER news. The Guardian too “Comment is free” (Not in the Guardian it isn’t), “But Facts are sacred” again, not in the Guardian – they are applied to appeal to their current obsessions. How on earth is it left to a small group of independent journalists to reveal the truth about a nation committing genocide, and a holocaust in plain sight? And even more importantly, why are politicians like the spare “proverbial” at a party? They are utterly useless and do not represent the majority view of the population they claim to represent!
