Farage party wins as Starmer’s danger to UK confirmed again
Keir Starmer’s Labour collapsed last night to hand a Merseyside council seat to Nigel Farage’s far-right Reform ‘party’, who have been accused of standing non-existent candidates in the general election, in the Blackbrook St Helens by-election.
Starmer’s red-Tory outfit fell by more than 18 points compared to 2022, well behind Reform. The Tories fell by fewer points:

Skwawkbox has long warned that Keir Starmer’s refusal to do anything resembling actual Labour politics, instead insisting on trying to out-Farage Farage and out-Tory the Tories represents an existential threat to UK democracy and indeed society. A few of Starmer’s impacts so far make dire reading: enriching greedy energy corporations even more at the expense of ordinary people already drowning under the cost-of-corporate-greed emergency; a 50% increase in bus fares; cutting real-terms wages and living standards; freezing pensioners; starving children; and increasing tuition fees.
Those with a far-right mindset will prefer the original versions and reject Starmer’s gruel, while those who want genuine change for the better will go nowhere near him, even more so now that he has shown, in government – ironically there thanks to Reform allowing his dire vote share to win a parliamentary majority – that he is exactly as police-state– and corporatocracy-inclined as the left has warned.
By hijacking Labour and making it a means of blocking the millions who want change to make the UK a decent, compassionate and functional place to live instead of enabling them and providing hope and a vision of that change to others to counter far-right hate and scapegoating, the deeply disliked Starmer is driving more and more uncommitted or unaware voters to the neo-fascists out of sheer anger, disgust and desperation.

Where was the left’scandidate?
Seems the article explains clearly if you read. I’m really starting to suspect that you’re of the same ilk as Lady Archer.
NVLA – “Seems the article explains clearly if you read”
Does it? Where?
Could you quote the section that “clearly explains” why the left didn’t field a candidate?
In a Ward with 8130 voters……
https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/fcgi-bin/seatdetails.py?seat=St%20Helens%20North
….. the number of votes cast…….
Victor Floyd (REFORM) wins, 546 votes.
Thomas Dodd (CONSERVATIVE) 102 votes; Trevor Anthony McLaughlin (INDEPENDENT) 52 votes; Daniel John Thomas (GREEN) 167 votes; Sally Yeoman (LABOUR), 460 votes.
The turnout was: 16.3%
……reveals that only just over thirteen hundred were inspired to vote. Which, following the similar voting with their feet turnout in July, says a great deal about how the silent majority of real people actually living in the country – compared to those (allegedly) living in a safe haven far from the bag of shit consequences of what they wish and seek to impose on the rest of us – really feel about the paucity of choices on offer.
As for your bullshit question, Billy, the “left’ candidate – according to your own previous definition – received 460 votes.
Go figure.
Bang on cue, it returns.Thought I heard a pop.
Managed to dislocate yer head from yer arse, then?
And again with the italics as some sort of bait….This the hill you’re prepared to die on, seeing as you’ve been proven to be wrong about everything else under the sun – having buggered off as soon as it dawned on you that your gobshitery became irrefutable?
*puts feet up, blows huge vape cloud, and remains indifferent to the latest instalment of desperate gobshite*
He put the baby goat down for a split second Toffee. Hence the reply.
New New Labour will probably ditch Stammer well before the next election. It won’t work, they’ll get hammered still.
Hated by the right, despised by the left and distrusted by the centrists, Starmer’s such an anti/non–leader, as soon as he’s ditched, the party will collapse-in on itself.
Wonder if the twat will be at the match tomorrow?
While I expect Everton to continue their usual charitable gift of three points to ‘the arse’, if our long-suffering, most loyal away support in the league – bar NONE – can have little to crow about with the scoreline, I hope they make their displeasure with the freeloading, useless parasite starmer, heard.
COYBB! UTT!
Question is if 85% of the electorate can’t be arsed to vote, what happens next
“59.9% was the turnout at the 2024 General Election. This is the second lowest voter turnout since universal suffrage was introduced, only narrowly beating the 2001 low of 59.4%.” – 1
See what’s happening, Doug? When the entryist right (2001 = Blair, 2024 = Starmer) – who laughingly call themselves ‘centrists’ – are in charge (of the taken-over Labour party), people don’t even bother voting. Them that do – in their despair, desolation and disgust – vote far-right.
It’s a Win/Win as far as the ‘ruling class’ elites are concerned. – and neither Blair nor Sir Keir BlackRock lament democracy’s loss – They ‘front’ and cause it.

From the report:
“non-voters also spoke loudly. At 40.1%, the non-vote was higher than any party’s vote share.”
A fact which has been the case for every General Election this century.
Seven elections in a row.
You would think the penny would have dropped by now for those who pontificate from a safe distance.
Quite. As we see with Andrew Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Blair, Cameron, Osborne, Clegg, Johnson, Truss and above all others Starmer and his grifting cabinet, the danger to the entire country, is not a few demonstrators (for whatever they demonstrate) but the money obsessed “I-don’t-have-enough-even-though-I’m-a multi-millionaire” class of spoilt adult-children. They would, and do happily sell the country to anyone that will give them their next fix of cash/clothes/concert-tickets and mix with some of the world’s greatest monsters. Pics of Blair shaking hands with Assad, and Putin, Starmer glad-handing Saudis and Netanyahu, Thatcher offering asylum to Pinochet. None of these people give a monkeys about Britain or the British. They are in it purely, 100% for their own interests, and those of the world elite. So what if 100,000 Palestinians die, 2 million starve, Palestinian land stolen, it’s a price worth THEM paying for OUR “elite” to prosper. The rest of us are rendered helpless, and that’s how they like it. A plague on all their bloody houses.
They would, and do happily sell the country to anyone”
And not just this country, but other people’s Countries:
As Martin Jay notes…..
https://strategic-culture.su/news/2024/12/13/syria-about-money-money-money/
“How is it possible that the western-supported jihadists in control of Damascus have a chief who is on a wanted list in the U.S. for being a terrorist?”
A wanted terrorist with a $10 million price on his head who was earlier this week captured on film acting as a chauffeur for Ibrahim Kalin, Head of the Turkish MIT (Turkey’s version of the CIA). Driving him around Damascus with an armed escort.
Jay continues:
“Western politicians are working double time to pull the wool over the eyes of a gullible public who are dazed and confused about the overthrow of the Assad regime, as some more astute members of the public might question how it is possible that the jihadists in control now of Damascus were not only paid by U.S. tax dollars, but have a chief who is on a wanted list in the U.S. for being a terrorist.
Step forward super numpty David Lammy MP, Britain’s bumbling black version of a cartoon character called Magoo. Mr Lammy is not as dumb as he looks, though, so pay attention to his fortuitous overtones in the British parliament to explain it all to voters who he assumes are more or less brain dead.”
Which just about sums up their attitude to the populace, of whom they nominally – on behalf of their paymasters – administer.
““It’s right to understand that Israel has legitimate security concerns in a country that’s housed ISIS [ISIL] and al-Qaeda,” Lammy said in response to a parliamentary question by MP Brendan O’Hara, adding that he had spoken to his Israeli counterpart.
“It’s for all of those reasons that we want an inclusive society that supports everyone, but none of us can have truck with terrorist groups,” he said.
Odd that he forgot to mention that the very terror groups he referring to are on the U.S. payroll and aligned to both the UK and U.S. Or does that mean that now that the terrorists have delivered the Assad regime to the U.S. and Israel that their role now is no longer relevant and therefore they need to be eliminated?”
Still, a known wanted literal head chopper and murderer is far preferable to the hapless Assad for our bought and paid media and political class. eh! what!
Not to mention that it is also far better that women, Kurds, Shia’s, Alawites and Christians be terrorised in fear of their lives whilst the Western powers and their proxies dismantle Syria and steal its assets for the benefit of the Western Oligarch paymasters than those resources be used for the benefit of ordinary people.
The rest of us surely know better(?), given the example of Libya – once the richest country in Africa now a failed state run by warlords bought and paid for by the same people running our politicians – attests. Ditto for the other countries on that infamous 2003 list which US General Wesley Clark revealed to the world in 2007 (Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon).
Regurgitating The Official Narrative about anyone designated an “Official Enemy” is simply falling for the propaganda used to justify these imperial adventures aimed ultimately as corralling all the resources of the rest of humanity for the benefit of a few.
Simply because it is a cast iron certainty that what these charlatans and sociopaths are prepared to do to other populations to get their own way, they will have no hesitation of doing the same to us should they consider it necessary.
Winteringham,
You can add International Law being shredded before the world’s eyes to that list of “a price worth paying”.
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable” – JFK
“..Or does that mean that now that the terrorists have delivered the Assad regime to the U.S. and Israel that their role now is no longer relevant and therefore they need to be eliminated?…”
Dunno – but the longer Channel 4, theGaurdain, the BBC’s approval and delight of the changes in Syria last, the more I’m inclined to that conclusion!
If nothing else, the controlled press makes it easy to disentangle and see through our Masters’ tricks and lies….
BTW gotta be said – winteringham, timfrom and Dave H’s posts today = BRILLIANT.
