Starmer’s police state is making an example of the ‘Filton 10’ to try to protect Israel’s arms interests as it commits genocide
Keir Starmer’s police-state assault, through the misuse of anti-terror legislation, on protest and especially on solidarity with Palestinians against Israel’s genocide continues to intensify with the case of the ‘Filton 10’ group of Palestine Action activists who targeted a Bristol factory owned by Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems.
Starmer’s regime and its enforcers are engaged in an escalating campaign of abusing anti-terror legislation to raid and arrest journalists and activists and force access to their confidential information – many of them, like many anti-genocide protesters, Jewish – who expose Israel’s war crimes. Hate-speech laws are similarly being misused to target anti-genocide campaigners, again many of them Jewish, like Israeli professor Haim Bresheeth, arrested earlier this month for a speech against Israel’s genocide and racism.
And now, the police and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), which Starmer used to run (badly), have combined with the courts to use the terror laws to imprison ten ‘Actionists’ for at least a year until their trial for damaging the weapons factory – even though they have not been charged with any terrorism offences. The mothers of two of the group, teenagers Zoë Rogers and Fatema Zainab, have spoken out about their horror at the Starmer regime’s abuse of legislation to imprison their daughters even though they have not been charged with any related offences and there is no suggestion they are involved in terrorism:
The ten actionists have a crowdfund to help cover legal expenses and the costs they will be charged for being held unjustly in prison.
The imprisonment is even more grim when admitted paedophiles such as BBC presenter Huw Edwards escape jail and the CPS under Starmer repeatedly failed to act against Establishment child rapists, including the infamous serial abuser Jimmy Savile and, apparently, paedophile Church of England barrister John Smyth, while colluding with the US to persecute journalist Julian Assange and autistic hacker Gary McKinnon then destroying its records of Starmer’s involvement.
Skwawkbox warned long before he got into power that Keir Starmer’s police-state leanings were deeply dangerous to the UK. A ‘long-time servant of the security state’ and supporter ‘without qualification’ of Israel who has refused to call Israel’s slaughter a genocide and is quite happy to let UK children starve, he did not even wait a month after the general election before using his position to pressurise the judiciary in line with his political aims.
Now the state’s war on freedom of speech and conscience, on journalism and the fundamentals of democracy is continually intensifying and it is abusing Fatema Zainab, Zoë Rogers and their comrades-against-genocide in an attempt to make an example of them and intimidate the opponents of Israel’s war crimes into silence and inaction.
Starmer and his machine must not succeed, for the sake of the millions of victims of genocide in Palestine and its neighbours but also for the sake of even a semblance of democracy and decency in this country.

Lying on your cv comes under Obtaining pecuniary advantage by deception
Used to be under the theft act 1968 but was superseded by fraud act 2006.
When I was on that work programme scam ( with the useless a4e) the genial trollop I was assigned to changed my cv without my consent and tried to force me to use her version – under threat of stopping my claim.
Until I told her that she’d given the wrong mobile number, and jobs I’d never had, plus embellishing positions I had had previously.
She hubristically declared she knew exactly what she was doing as she had a full TWO YEARS experience in coercing people into piss-poor (mc)jobs.
I warned her and her manager in no uncertain terms that if I went to interview using that cv I would be committing fraud and quoted the act to them. Manager googled it and they almost literally shit themselves.
I had to chuckle, before complaining on the strongest terms to the area manager – who got my name wrong in the corresponding email – and then the chief exec (can’t remember her name, but just as clueless).
Told them to stop my dole and I’d have them before a tribunal and would inform the local press if they persisted with their threat.
Needless to say they left me alone after that.
IIRC it was around the same time as dummkopf-schmitt** had been collared lying anout his education history on his cv.

As if this wasn’t utterly shocking enough, on going to their CrowdFund page I discovered they are going to be charged up to £45 each for ‘canteen costs’ each week!
