Right-wing Israel fanatic Matthew Brodsky took offence at Irish troops’ stand – and some Israel supporters now want to invade Ireland, too
Israel supporter and US government ‘adviser on Israel-Palestine peace’ Matthew Brodsky’s account on Twitter/X has been suspended after he posted a series of calls for the brutal death of Irish peacekeeping troops who had refused to kowtow to a demand by Israeli troops to leave their Unifil post next to a Lebanese village.
Brodsky had called for the Israeli military to carpet-bomb and napalm the troops and their entire area of responsibility – and expressed his hope that the Irish garrison would be ‘blasted to bits’:
But Brodsky didn’t limit his enthusiasm for war crimes to Irish soldiers – appearing to call for ‘mass rape’ of women in Ireland, Spain and Norway in apparent outrage at the decision of the governments of those countries to recognise Palestinian statehood in response to Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Brodsky appeared to be referring to Israeli atrocity propaganda about mass rape by Palestinian fighters – but this was disproven months ago, along with claims of cooked and beheaded babies. In fact, many and perhaps most of the Israeli civilians killed on 7 October last year were killed by the Israeli military under a three-times per hour series of ‘Hannibal directive’ orders – the Israeli doctrine of killing potential hostages rather than let them be taken captive – that led to the occupation force’s tanks and helicopters shooting and incinerating hundreds of cars, homes and their occupants, including on at least some occasions children that they knew to be in them.
Brodsky’s account is now suspended – he should of course also be unemployable by the US government, but this is far less likely. And he didn’t get his wish – Israeli forces have now withdrawn from the Unifil base, faced down by the Irish garrison.
Brodsky is anything but an exception when it comes to fanatical supporters of Israel, however. Some are calling for Israel to make Ireland the next stop on its campaign of invasion and obliteration after Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Gaza and Lebanon. Israel is a rogue state supported by sociopaths.
Israel has murdered as many as 200,000 Palestinian civilians in Gaza and approaching 3,000 in Lebanon. It has been exposed dropping radioactive bombs on civilian areas of Lebanon and is invading – with significant losses inflicted on its forces – after it conducted an indiscriminate and illegal terror campaign using booby-trapped devices.

Which one day calls for anyone protesting or disagreeing to be sacked from their job (and lobbies government’s and organisations behind the scenes to achieve that aim) and the next day escalates in a call for everyone in that society to be summarily exterminated in the most brutal manner possible.
Just as Palestinian’s, Arab’s and Persians – Christian as well as Muslim – are being collectively punished right now for resisting the self-appointed superior overlords who consider themselves the “Chosen People”.
Doubtless there will be calls from these cowards and bullies to impose punitive sanctions on Ireland and any other country involved for having the temerity to tell these tossers to go and piss up a wall. The only question being how quickly bought and paid for avowed Zionists across what passes for Western leaderships and Governments will acquiesce?

Gaza update: UN commission finds war crimes in Israeli attacks
Israel has perpetrated a concerted policy to destroy Gaza’s healthcare system as part of a broader assault on Gaza, committing war crimes and the crime against humanity of extermination with relentless and deliberate attacks on medical personnel and facilities, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel said in a new report today.
The commission also investigated the treatment of Palestinian detainees in Israel and of Israeli and foreign hostages in Gaza since 7 October 2023 and concluded that Israel and Palestinian armed groups are responsible for torture and sexual and gender-based violence.
“Israel must immediately stop its unprecedented wanton destruction of healthcare facilities in Gaza,” said Navi Pillay, Chair of the Commission. “By targeting healthcare facilities, Israel is targeting the right to health itself with significant long-term detrimental effects on the civilian population. Children in particular have borne the brunt of these attacks, suffering both directly and indirectly from the collapse of the health system.”

UNIFIL’s Naqoura headquarters and nearby positions have been repeatedly hit.
This morning, two peacekeepers were injured after an IDF Merkava tank fired its weapon toward an observation tower at UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura, directly hitting it and causing them to fall. The injuries are fortunately, this time, not serious, but they remain in hospital.
IDF soldiers also fired on UN position (UNP) 1-31 in Labbouneh, hitting the entrance to the bunker where peacekeepers were sheltering, and damaging vehicles and a communications system. An IDF drone was observed flying inside the UN position up to the bunker entrance.
Yesterday, IDF soldiers deliberately fired at and disabled the position’s perimeter-monitoring cameras. They also deliberately fired on UNP 1-32A in Ras Naqoura, where regular Tripartite meetings were held before the conflict began, damaging lighting and a relay station.

There is a wonderful weekly silent peaceful protest, holding banners, by Pro Palestinian Women in Black, these protests were originally started by Women in Palestine and are powerful.
Nearby some of the women give out PSC leaflets & they have been there for years but a while ago a small group of male & female Zionists started turning up nearby & giving out Pro Zionist leaflets.
A friend of mine who isn’t very political took one & thought it might help her learn more about the current situation then passed the leaflet onto me.
It was turgid & some would suggest was full of distortions & disinformation but what was really upsetting is it included a quote from perhaps one of the greatest ever Black Leaders, Dr Martin Luther King Jr and on their leaflet it claimed he said : “Anti-Zionism is inherently Anti-Semitic and ever will be so.”
But the only problem as I found by a quick search on Wikipedia is “The Letter to a Zionist Friend (purported to be by the great Martin Luther) is a Fake.”
Perhaps as someone said “They lie and they lie & they lie, and they lie.”
