PM backed by private health donors holds gun to nation’s head as he continues lie that NHS will ‘go bankrupt’

Keir Starmer – who like his Health Secretary Wes Streeting has accepted large donations from private health interests – has made his intentions for the NHS even clearer, with aides briefing media that in a speech today he will say that the NHS must ‘reform or die’.
Having conned his way into the Labour party leadership in 2020 by saying he would bring the NHS fully back into public ownership, once his feet were under the table he made his real plans clear by switching to a narrative that the NHS will ‘go bankrupt’ if it doesn’t ‘reform’. This was and remains a lie, as the NHS can never go ‘bankrupt’ unless a government decides to cut off fund – a lie completely in line with Starmer’s lie to the TUC this week that ‘government cheques will bounce’ if Labour doesn’t pay off the UK’s ‘overdraft’, both of which are false and meaningless, as financial experts pointed out:

Starmer and Streeting have made clear that their ‘reforms’ mean an extension of privatisation, the opposite of what Starmer promised – and the even greater rationing of hospital care, forcing people to seek treatment ‘in the community’ at best, or more likely to go without.
This is made even clearer by their use of peer Ara Darzi, who served in Gordon Brown’s health department and was tasked with leading a ‘national review’ of the NHS’s future for the next ten years. He is an ardent advocate of NHS ‘reform’.
All this ‘reform’ is a continuation of the right’s ‘integrated care’ push – which Streeting has said he fully supports and will perpetuate. So-called ‘integrated care systems‘ (ICS) are a direct import of the US ‘accountable care organisations’ (ACOs) and were originally called the same by the UK government. The plan was renamed to ICS after bad publicity about US ACOs depriving people of care.
ICS involve rewarding health bodies in the English NHS for not spending their budgets, creating a perverse incentive for them to withhold and ration care because they will make more money – and allowing private providers to fatten profits even further. ICS’ purpose is to simplify and reduce NHS care so that it is more profitable for private providers, but it is being ‘sold’ to the public by claiming it’s about sustainability and providing ‘more’ care outside hospitals.
The lethal push to downgrade medical expertise in the NHS by increasing the use of ‘associates’ instead of doctors – which Labour also supports despite knowing, from its own analysis, that it poses ‘high’ risk to patients – is likewise part of this reduction of cost to increase profits.
This is the bedrock of Starmer’s ‘reform’ and ‘new’ measures announced today – such as ‘slashing billions’ from ‘unproductive’ hospitals – will simply pile the shit-heap of private profit and rationed care higher. And he is holding a gun to the nation’s head to acquiesce to this pillaging by saying he will kill the NHS off if it does not go ahead.
The Biggest Lie is that this will ‘save’ the NHS anyway. It will kill it, in any meaningful form, just as surely but prop up its corpse to maintain the fiction that it has not been murdered by red and blue Tories.

It’s whats ALLOWED to happen when well read + well meaning people, with their OWN hope, BLIND and DEAFEN themselves to the obvious, the easily predictable and predicted, that “Sir Starmer is bad, Bad BAD news”.
What a tragedy that it is the many who will pay the deadly price.
I wonder how McDonnell “converting people” is going???
You can watch Keir Starmer’s speech here:

Who the fuck wants to see starmers speech other tjan nhs carpetbaggers? .
We know what he’s up to. You were told.
But YOU told us we were tories if we didn’t vote for him/it.
So, what’s NOT toerag about smarmerist NHS privatisation, knobhead?
The only reasonable interpretation of Billy No Mates providing a link to this speech is to piss down people backs whilst telling them it’s raining – from a safe distance.
You can read Lord Darzi’s report on the state of the National Health Service in England here:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/independent-investigation-of-the-nhs-in-england
Go away, prick.
Billy – The problematic issue with Darzi’s report is that it does not exist in a vacuum. It operates in a wider political and practical context.
Only some, by way of an example, of which are detailed in this piece:

That the Starmer Junta, in not making adequate preparations by commissioning this kind of analysis and having a set of responses before the election to save time, may appear incompetent, as suggested by Murphy. However, such an interpretation ignores the political context in which a set of already determined outcomes arising from private sector lobbying (ie bribery) of those in power is already in place and apparent.
As Murphy observes, it is bizarre that Starmer’s response to a report concluding decades of underinvestment has led to the current state of the NHS, is no new investment – indeed it is to take away money from crumbling hospitals and transfer it into primary care.
How, pray, is the NHS to transform itself before the government might be willing to invest any further funds in it?
How are those who work within our health service to transform the services that it supplies without any additional resources being provided to them to enable this to happen?
How is it a coherent and sensible policy that only when that transformation has happened will, apparently, the funding necessary for that transformation to occur be given?
When the current problem is that a part of the organisation faces is that it cannot meet demand because job vacancies are unfilled, how is it possible that the demand in question be met without additional people being made available to achieve that demand?
Similarly, if the problem in a part of the organisation is outdated or inadequate technology, the problem that technology creates must be resolved by the existing staff of the NHS before they will apparently receive the resources to improve the service.
These are impossible demands. They are the demands of either an imbecile or someone already committed to handing the health service entirely to corporate parasites for private profit. Leaving the bulk of the population unable to afford it to rot.
And as Murphy also notes, the knock on effects on the economy reveal an individual and collective mindset which is either economically illiterate or set on destroying the economy of the nation state it is nominally administrating in order to affect the WEF globalist reset.
So come on, smart arse. Rather than post context free drivel, have you any coherent grown up answers to the nonsense you are pushing down peoples throats?
I thought social media platforms like Youtube were banning such hate speech?

Still no reply from the gobshite that just wouldn’t shut up about how gullible we supposedly were for warning him exactly this would happen.
Best hope that daughter of yours doesn’t get seriously ill, eh? Might just put the kibosh on that ‘better future’ you elected for her and the rest of us.
On a different subject, the National Television Awards last night made a big issue of the show “Mr Bates versus the Post Office”
In all the reporting of the scandal, there is an assumption that it was caused by faulty software.
But we do not know that for a fact. We ought to consider the possibility that the software was deliberately designed to produce such ‘errors’. Are there, I wonder, any examples of errors that have gone the other way and resulted in incorrect surpluses in the accounts?
It is worth thinking about.
That’s the bad stuff done with. Let’s all join together and make a big long list of what Starver is going to do for the working classes benefit.
How does it fell to be a human sacrifice for the oligarchy?:
https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/09/12/starmers-choice-he-wont-fund-the-nhs-even-though-he-knows-people-will-die-as-a-result/
Herr Starmer is:
“supporting the Tory plan because he, like them, is refusing to borrow the funds necessary to update the NHS to meet modern needs so it can provide the healthcare we require when those funds are readily available to be borrowed, whether from the City or people who would like to save with NS&I.
As a consequence, he knows that people who will need help will go untreated.
Worse still, he knows that by doing this, he is hastening the end of the NHS and its replacement by a private medical service – which would seem to be his goal.
And what he must also know – because he says that working people cannot afford to pay more for the NHS – is that the result is that many people will eventually be denied any healthcare at all because they will not be able to afford it.
In other words, what he is saying is that those without money must now accept that the reality is that they might die uncared for. There is no other reasonable interpretation of his words unless he’s merely being superficially melodramatic, in which case he is acting wholly inappropriately for a prime minister.
As Noam Chomsky once put it “That’s the standard technique of privatisation: defund, make sure things don’t work, people get angry, you hand it over to private capital.”
That’s what Starmer is doing here. The result is that we would all pay a great deal more, except for those who might not be able to pay anything at all, and they might suffer or even die as a result.
Yet he and his pretend Government can find billions of pounds to arm neo-nazis in Eastern Europe and support Zionist fascists committing Genocide in the Near East. All on the backs of the most vulnerable in society – the young; the elderly; the infirm and the sick.
Along with the rest of the Collective Worst the Labour Party has effectively declared war on the rest of the world with its policies. It has also declared war on the majority of Its own people.
Knowingly killing off the sick and elderly…
Human rights lawyer.
Harold Shipman and Josef Mengele were both physicians.
Very correct. we know whom he follows unresevedly. Am just also wondering where he got his accreditation as Human Rights Lawyer from. From some bargain bin or some website? Just asking because he seems rather dim on human Rights as he tramples all over them.
