London paper erases Mohamad almost unseating Streeting

Standard changes chart after outrage

Almost erased – Palestinian Londoner Leanne Mohamad and her general election achievement

The Evening Standard paper erased Leanne Mohamad, the Independent candidate who came within around five hundred votes of unseating Keir Starmer’s pro-Israel, pro-privatisation Health Secretary Wes Streeting last week.

Mohamad, a popular and likeable pro-Palestinian activist – a stark contrast to Streeting, who once screamed in the face of Diane Abbott, Britain’s first Black woman MP and who, like his boss, has accepted large donations from private health interests – tweeted about the right-wing rag’s ‘erasure’ of her candidacy on its London election results page, where it skipped from Streeting straight to the third-placed Tories:

The revelation triggered outrage among her many supporters. The paper has since belatedly changed its graphic to reflect reality:

However, the UK ‘mainstream’ media continue to largely ignore the achievement of Independent candidates campaigning against Keir Starmer’s support for the genocidal Israeli regime – including the five who won their seats, including former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn – who hammered his health-privatiser Labour opponent and far out-performed Keir Starmer’s poor showing in neighbouring Holborn and St Pancras.

  1. Well done and GRATITUDE 2 ALL Independents and new parties who stood without the vast resources of the Tory A and the now infiltrating parasitic self-serving B side Starmer, Bliar, Ashworth, Berger, et. al. & Co.
    It’s a HUGE undertaking.

SPEAK with focus to the ENTIRE electorate rather than to only those with whom we agree.

Be DYNAMIC and CLEAR and SUSTAINED demolishing MYTHS e.g. Privatisation necessary despite the £BILLIONS bailing out / subsidising the ever fleecing & failing, SERCO, Carillon, G4S, TATA, ATOS, CAPITA, PPE bandits, PFI bandits… the list is long. We must highlight everyday the clear chaos and failure of these 0.001% parasites instead of drowning in theories. Successful politics … LIVING are neither theories nor talking shops. Instead it is CLEAR presentation of BASIC FACTS as LYNCH highlights: VAST subsidies to private parasites YET directors and shareholders pumped with HUGE pay & bonuses, and dividends.

Parasite Starmer’s grubby claws on power despite failing to get the vote-share proportion AND numbers Labour got under Jeremy‼️‼️‼️

The FAILURE of Ashworth and Streeting et al to fool the voters, exactly as Berger, Ummuna etc FAILED.

While these BASICS are not highlighted, MYTHS survive.
    ✨‼️✨‼️✨‼️✨‼️✨‼️✨‼️✨‼️

  2. I hope that Jeremy Corbyn starts a new Party in which to bring people like Leanne Mohamed, Pamela Fiztpatrick and others.
Corbyn should resist falling for the calls of John McDonnell for him to be restored to the Labour Party. What members of the SCG should consider doing is to leave the Labour Party and stand as MPs for a newly formed Party on the left of the Labour Party and provide a real opposition from the left. I believe Starmer is going to fail to make any real difference so, I cannot see Labour wining the next General Election in 5 years time. So either a new left Party that can challenge Starmer for the left is build and ready to take the fight, or the right will win the next General Election.
Time to learn from the French, Portuguese and Spanish left: rather than compromise they fight and come together.
Interesting that the french left amalgamated under the name “Le Front Populaire”no doubt in my mind a tribute to ” El Frente Popular” that stood against fascism in Spain in 1936 and fought fascism with decreasing resources thanks to the treachery of the British Trade Unions and neo-liberal governments for nearly 3 years.
The line the main British Trade Unions are taking in relation to the conflict in Palestine isn´t new. They turned a blind eye too during the Spanish Civil War. The Republic pay in advance for British coal to be delivered to a port under Republican control. Instead because the British government decided to recognise Franco´s government as the legitimate government of Spain, the coal was delivered by British trade unionists to a port under Franco´s control. Thus, effectively stopping the running of the trains so that neither troops or supplies could reach the front lines.

    1. “Corbyn should resist falling for the calls of John McDonnell for him to be restored to the Labour Party.”

      Absolutely!

    2. For the sake of many of those in the position of the lady writing here…..

…..among many others, waiting another five years for another crack in a rigged system in which it is clear that the globalist oligarchs to whom Starmer and his junta answer to will continue to eradicate the ideas of the political left and those who hold them from UK society in the same way they have in the LP is not a viable option.

Systemically, what Starmer and his government represents has no efficacy and is not fit for purpose. The globalist project of which the UK political class is a front is falling apart on multiple fronts…….

      1. ……as described here…..

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C4oL_DKR1I&ab_channel=MintPressNews

by US Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson in an interview on Mint Press News. As the UK is, like the EU, joined at the hip with the US Globalist ‘Rules Based Order’, what Wilkerson has to say will impact and reverberate just a much on this side of the pond as in the US.

When the inevitable occurs in which the Neo-feudal paradigm starts to fall apart – which will be sooner rather than later – the political left needs to be organised to take practical advantage of any opportunities which arise. And that includes being able to present a disciplined record of actively opposing any policies enacted by this faux Labour administration which harm the majority to feed the greed of the psychopathic minority to defend those adversely affected.

And that does not mean sitting on arses in armchairs signing online petitions for five years whilst things further crumble around us. It means getting hands dirty from day one. Not giving an inch to those who seek to eradicate once and for all centuries of opposition and any progress which has occurred.

  3. I think a re-writing of history may be under way. The target being ‘the left’, of course.

We had Harmon chastising Jeremy Corbyn over ‘collective endeavour’, totally ignoring the lack of collective endeavour from 172 PLP MPs between2015 and 2020.

The only collective endeavour coming from the party Membership and being sneered at by those, same, 172 PLP MPs.

On Friday evening’s ITV News at Ten, Robert Peston, once more, tagged Jeremy Corbyn with anti-Semitism. Just like that. Blasé doesn’t cover it. It seemed to roll off his tongue.

Nor does blasé cover Anushka Asthana stating, on the same programme, – ‘The mistake Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party made in 2017 was targeting ‘save seats’ with funding, over marginal seats where it would have been more useful.’

She, obviously, had never heard of the Ergon House saboteurs, or The Leaked Labour Party Report – April 2020 (let alone read it) nor had she watched Al Jazeera’s ‘The Labour Files’, or ‘The Lobby’.

…and, now, we have the blatant ‘ghosting’ of Leanne Mohamad.

So, it seems, for certain elements of the MSM, it’s business as usual.

They must have crapped themselves when they saw the French Election Results, this morning.

Vive Jean-Luc Mélenchon! Vive la France! Vive la Gauche!

  4. Getting back to London paper’s erasing of Mohamad – Im not sure
whether this erasure was reflected by others in the MSM ..?

But never mind – I think the point has been made to Streeting and others
that their positions as MPs are no longer safe.

If they have any doubt – then the examples of those who DID oust the
sitting Labour MPs are there for all to see!

The next few months after they have settled in should be interesting ..

  5. Labour expected to drop challenge to ICC over Netanyahu arrest warrant

The new Labour government is expected to drop a bid to delay the international criminal court (ICC) reaching a decision on whether to issue an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu over alleged war crimes in Gaza.
The development came as Keir Starmer, the new UK prime minister, told the Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, that he believed the Palestinians had an undeniable right to a Palestinian state. Starmer spoke to Abbas on Sunday about the “ongoing suffering and devastating loss of life” in Gaza.
He also spoke to Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, setting out the “clear and urgent” need for a ceasefire in Gaza. “He added that it was also important to ensure the long-term conditions for a two-state solution were in place, including ensuring the Palestinian Authority had the financial means to operate effectively,” a readout of the call said.

    1. LABOUR WILL NOT OPPOSE THE ICC ISSUEING AN ARREST WARRANT FOR NETANYAHU

UK will not oppose right of ICC to issue arrest warrant for Israeli PM Netanyahu, says No 10
A Downing Street spokesperson says the matter is solely one for the court and that it believes “strongly in the rule of law and separation of powers”.
