Pitiful attempt to restore reputation with Muslim voters and supporters of human rights rightly derided

Keir Starmer has been rightly trashed for calling for an ‘extension’ to Israel’s ‘pause’ in its slaughter of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, after he helped the Tories defeat a parliamentary amendment calling for a ceasefire because, supposedly, it would ‘allow Hamas to regroup’ – and supported Israel’s ‘right’ to commit war crimes.
Starmer’s naked and pitiful attempt to regain some favour with the Muslim voters and supporters of human rights who now despise him backfired predictably.
In just the first hour after he posted the message on Twitter/X, hundreds of respondents have mocked and condemned Starmer for his hypocrisy and chancing. A few are shown below:
And some commenters pointed to the Israeli regime’s equally shameless comments – unreported by the UK so-called ‘mainstream’ media – about its real reasons for the slaughter of innocent Palestinians:
Others pointed out the fraud of the current ‘pause’ – which has seen Israel continue to kill Palestinian civilians and take nearly as many new hostages as they have released:
Starmer the fraud supporting Israeli fraud and genocide. Shameless, shameful and unfit to lead a conga, let alone a country.
