‘Where is he?’ theme prominent as critics go to town

A hashtag summing up Keir Starmer – in almost entirely derisory terms – trended in the UK last night as Starmer’s many critics used their creativity to sum up the disaster of his ‘leadership’ of the Labour party, with many wondering where the hell he is when millions of people are facing a crisis.

The thread soon reached the top slot:

Many comments were around the theme of Starmer’s absence, but others focused laser-like on Starmer’s personal and political characteristics, or their absence, together with his dishonesty in conning people to vote for him to run the party in the first place, his spinelessness in actually standing for anything, his appalling eagerness to emulate the Tories – and his nauseating and misleading shtick about his supposed ‘ordinary’ upbringing:

    1. If only ‘the left’ were as good at actually getting their vote out as they are at organising a brief twitter storm in response to an article published earlier in the day announcing that next week Keir will be giving a series of speeches on the impending cost of living crisis.

      1. Two Cheeks
2017 2,000 votes from power, what stopped us getting over the line
2019 your man went one stage further and handed the GE to Tories on a silver salver, the only thing that was missing was the f7ck8ng Ferroro Rocher

      2. If only you’d just sod off…

But nevermind. You just carry on deluding yourself that the visceral dislike and public disdain/indifference towards keef is confined to social media.

Oh I forgot….You’re in another country so are completely unable to gauge the measure of public apathy towards the monotonous, clueless dullard back here in blighty. 😏

  1. Tories getting free publicity and Starmer is getting none. The public already have decided what he offers – charisma vacuum and runner up to Peppa.

  2. #keef starmer wannabe kiddy starver

    #Lets tories off the hook

    #keef is wee fella’s mate.

    #But he isnt your mate

    #Would have prosecuted Robin Hood

    #All the appeal of roadkill

    #And ten times as lively

    #Wasn’t there only three stooges?

#Curly, Larry, Mo, Keef & Dave

    #Oh, and that rachel reeves

    #Not to mention the others

#Vote keef if you want tory

    #I’m not quite finished yet……

  3. Who killed Kenny?

It tookSouth Park 24 seasons to permanently kill off the otherwise recurrently-dying Kenny.

Why? He reminded Briish viewers of Sir Keir ‘show-me-your-papers’ Starmer (and US viewers of Joe Biden). The gag kinda backfired, became a liability.

Even the PLP knows he’ll win the election – for the tories. September and Conference. The quarter million-ish ‘dearly departed’ can rely on the PLP to Kill Keir – or cost its members their seats.

  4. Like to see Starmer and Reeves take a Blade Runner replicant detection Voight-Kampff test:

There’s a pensioner freezing to death in their home, they can’t afford to put the heater on. But they can’t, not without your help. But you’re not helping. Why is that?

  5. This is twitter giving StarmTrooper a pasting …. Not the Left.
    Swawkbox is the left !!
    [with certain dishonourable exceptions]

  6. A few decades ago there was a popular children’s character in a series of books.
    Where’s Wally?
Everything seems to come round again.

  7. #Won’t struggle with his bills

    #Because he’ll claim on expenses

    #And loads of other freebies

    #Worth hundreds or even thousands

    #But they’re hardly worth declaring

    #So don’t fret for keef

    #He won’t fret for you

    #He’ll most likely abstain again

    #And order the others to

    #That’s what keef does best

  8. Please read, and share far and wide:

Prof. Jeffrey Sachs is the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and the President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. He has also served as the chair of the COVID-19 commission for leading medical journal the Lancet. Through his investigations as the head of the COVID-19 commission, Prof. Sachs has come to the conclusion that there is extremely dangerous biotechnology research being kept from public view, that the United States was supporting much of this research, and that it is very possible that SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, originated through dangerous virus research gone awry……

    1. Allan – An interesting hypothesis from the economist Sachs who apparently is “pretty convinced” that he is right. 🤔

      1. Would you kindly fuck off you malevolent piece of shit.

        Many thanks.

      2. Prof. Jeffrey Sachs never says he is ‘convinced’ of any particular hypothesis. Quite the opposite. He points to inconsistencies and contradictions and non-adherence to scientific method.

      3. “But they were proud of this, because it’s actually genius at a technological level. Can you imagine: you can take a sequence of letters, which defines the genome, you can recreate the virus just from the letters. You don’t even have to have the biological virus in hand, you just need the sequence. Then you can say “I’m going to add these four letters RRAR, the furin cleavage site, or maybe it’s eight, RRARSVAS, this is a sequence of eight amino acids—I’m going to stick it in there right at the S1 S2 junction of the spike protein, because I know from my research program that will make it more pathogenic, that is more disease-causing. And then I can see whether my drug candidates like remdesivir, or some other candidate works against it. That is their idea. There’s nothing kooky about our claim: Hey, what were you doing? Because they told us that they wanted to do these projects. And they told us that they were wanting to do these projects in the months leading up to this outbreak. And then what is absolutely strange is that even though scientists knew right from the start, that is very weird to have that RRAR furin cleavage site in there—never saw that before in a SARS-like virus, and that that could well have come from a lab—hush, hush. Don’t talk about it. Don’t even discuss it. Just say right from the beginning: This is natural. Of course, it’s natural. Everything else is kooky.

“So you saw a narrative being created. And the scientists are not acting like scientists. Because when you’re acting like a scientist, you’re pursuing alternative hypotheses. And the scientists just wrote recently an op-ed saying the only evidence that this came out of a lab that’s been put forward is that it came in a city, Wuhan, where an institute was located. Well, that’s a lie. That is not the only coincidence that leads to this theory. What leads to this alternative hypothesis is the detailed research program the NIH funded that was underway in the years leading up to the outbreak. So I see the scientists absolutely trying to create a narrative and take our eyes off of another issue.

“Now, again, let me emphasize, we don’t have definitive evidence of either hypothesis. But what we do have is definitive evidence that officialdom has tried to keep our eyes away from the lab creation hypothesis.”

    2. Alan Howard,

It’s well documented by now that the US had 67 BioLabs in Ukraine where they were testing BioWeapon technology on the Ukrainian Army, in other words they used them as Guinea Pigs. It’s conceivable that Covid was transferred to Wuhan during the Military Games either deliberately or accidentally. The rest is history.

      1. FYI baz2001. Veterans Today (VT) collated a report on this in Ukraine, which you’ve maybe seen but which even pulls together a few geopolitical strands we can recognise and which future historians might cite as a death-like throe of an Empire frightened for its life and disorientated for its future.
