Socialist Telly brings a unique programme – and viewers will have chance to ask questions too
On Sunday night at 7pm Socialist Telly will offer viewers a unique chance to get up close and personal with Unite leadership hopeful Howard Beckett – and to get in on the action themselves.
In a Damo Meets special, Socialist Telly’s Damien Willey will hit Beckett with every smear, every accusation and every question that the ‘mainstream’ media and Beckett’s opponents have thrown at him in their eagerness to prevent their ‘nightmare scenario’ of Beckett leading Labour’s biggest affiliate – and Beckett will take them all head on.
It’s no exaggeration to say that the Unite contest is the most important event for the future of the UK labour movement at the moment – and viewers will have the chance to put their own questions via the comments as the programme streams live on social media.
This is not a drill:
Tune in tonight at 7pm on Socialist Telly Twitter and Youtube and on the Skwawkbox Facebook page – and don’t forget to subscribe, set notifications to ‘all’ and spread the word to make sure you don’t miss out on this and other great Socialist Telly programmes.

It will be interesting to see where these smears originate from.

Some I’ve deleted on FB etc because they’re simply bollocks, but just do a search. It really isn’t hard to find anti-Beckett people spreading the accusation
