Beckett launch moves to public Facebook event after overwhelming Zoom registration

Howard Beckett’s planned Zoom-based launch tonight of his campaign to become the Unite union’s next general secretary has moved to a public Facebook broadcast after registrations for the Zoom session exceeded five hundred.

Those who wish to attend can do so here. The meeting will also be streamed live to the Socialist Telly YouTube channel and on Twitter. Viewers can interact with the launch most easily via the comments on the Facebook page and YouTube channel. If you’re watching on Twitter, click through on the ‘pscp.tv’ link in the tweet to ensure comments are picked up by the streaming platform.
