Well over a thousand students gathered yesterday outside the Department for Education to protest against the theft of their A-level grades by the Tories’ scandalous algorithm that deprived working class and ethnic minority students while boosting the results of exclusive private schools.
Chants of ‘Get Gav Gone’, ‘Justice for the working class’ and calls for Williamson to come out of hiding were heard – and appear to have the Tories rattled:
The protest was mirrored by others around the country, such as this one in Liverpool – and most of them reminded the Tories that all the students robbed last week will be eligible to vote in the next general election:
Shaken Tories are scrabbling today to find a way out of the scandal, with even Tory front-benchers putting pressure on Williamson to do something and the government has indicated an announcement will be made later today.
However, while the Scottish government wisely backtracked on its own grade adjustment last week it looks like the Tories will merely offer guidance on appeals.
It will not be enough.

Whilst opposition mounts from students, schools, colleges, universities, parents, LibDems, Mayors, even Tory MPs (!!), the Starmerites offer the weakest opposition possible. What WOULD they actually oppose?

The inevitable consequence of an insane policy of lockdown which has robbed students of at least 6 months of face to face classroom based teaching and could potentially affect them for the rest of their lives on a virus which has a mortality rate of about 0.07% predominantly affects old people with a median age of 80 years old and 95% of the fatalities had, according to the NHS one or more serious illnesses, therefore, the virus was not the primary cause of death. Not forgetting of course, the incidence of death from the virus in a school population of about 7,800,000 is about 0.0005%.
I thought that the rate was even lower. Now were we to have an half way decent opposition the whole truth would come out. How did Max Headroom ever get elected. Pathetic.

Indeed, many of the young people who become infected with SARS CoV-2 will be asymptomatic. And there lies the problem.
To repeat the school population is about 7,800,000 and the fatalities rate is about 0.0005% and probably much lower. The vast majority of the cohort who die from Covid-19 are in the 80-90 year age group. Average life span in the UK about 80 years old. Young people are more likely to die from an meteorite strike than Covid 19. Fatalities rate from Covid-19 about 0.007% population of UK 66500,000 biggest cause of death dementia, followed by cancer, heart disease, Parkinson’s, diabetes etc. Fatalities soley from about Covid-19 0.00035%.

I wonder how many of these students parents voted these jokes in ? if they did and I was a student I would be having a go at the parents. Bitter yes very. I was in our local town some years back with the local labour party. we were there about the tories have taken a lot away from students to EMA , bus passes etc. The people looked at us like we were dirt. that was about 2015.
A whole lot of people voted these nasty incompetent politicians in, and many proudly boasting that they’d always voted Labour before. And even now, after the shit show of the last year (and counting) their ratings are still holding up. It’s incomprehensible. The Government has had months to sort out exams and has now been forced into a screeching U-turn after days of confusion.
This is a victory for the thousands of young people who have powerfully made their voices heard this past week.

BREAKING: Exams regulator Ofqual has just announced that all A levels and GCSEs in England will now be graded according to teacher assessments (predicted grades).
This is a screeching u-turn from the government – on Saturday the Education Secretary said “No u-turn. No change.”

Therefore, 5% died solely from Covid 19.
To put that into perspective the fatalities amount to about 41000, which means that about 2000 people died solely from Covid 19. The population of the U.K. is about 66500000 which means that fatalities rate solely from Covid 19 is about 0.0035% . Biggest Medical Cause of Death in the U.K. dementia, followed by Cancer and chronic respiratory diseases.
To put that in perspective every year about 165,000 people die of cancer, and as the NHS have stated the incidences of cancer plus possible death will rise, the survival rates will fall, because of the insane lockdown. And this is just the second highest cause of death in the U.K. The problem is not the kids but the people who swallowed the hype, hysteria and fear and we all, except the Bankers, hedge funds, very wealthy investors, will pay a very dear price for this.
