Historic queues at polling stations – ignored by media. Don’t miss your chance to make (more) history. Here’s how

Photos show phenomenal turn-out – not shown by broadcasters. Here’s how to vote – and help get out the vote

The UK’s massive appetite for real change is seeing queues at polling stations across the country – in many cases to levels residents and polling station officers have not seen in decades or ever.

But the coverage by broadcasters is ignoring this historic enthusiasm among voters – and especially young people – to have their say:

The Establishment wants you to think turnout and enthusiasm will be low. They don’t want you to brave the cold and get out to vote.

They don’t want you to help ‘get out the vote’ (GOTV) in your and other areas, either.

Voting is easy. It takes a few minutes and the polling station officers will give you any help you need.

Don’t be put off by the thought of queues – they won’t be busy all day. Find out your nearest polling station here – you can vote any time until 10pm but don’t leave it until the last minute if you can help it.

And you don’t need ID, so don’t let anyone deter you or tell you otherwise.

And if you can spare the time to go to your nearest marginal and help Labour’s GOTV, find out the location near you where your time will be best spent here.

Vote Labour. Help others vote Labour. Make history – bring real change.

  1. I’ve just vote for Labour in my Edgbaston Constituency and my polling station was quiet at just after 9.00am. Hopefully it’ll get busier later. But things look hopeful with such long queues elsewhere. I do hope those charlatans that left Labour who are still contesting their seats get a very rude awakening tonight as they lose by a substantial margin. JC4PM!

  2. record breaking queues in London🎊🎊🎊 One chance! RARE opportunity 4 REAL change. MSM lies & desperate Tory dodgy stuff prove they know it.
Johnson taking journalist’s phone then stuffing it in his pocket, Boris Johnson RUNNING AWAY FROM QUESTIONS then HIDING in a FRIDGE ⁉️⁉️⁉️ That is NOT PM material. Elected by Tories. Not by us. DUMP BORIS! Ditch Johnjohn!! Get rid!!!
Make this a night to remember 🌹🌹🌹

      1. The scroats are trying to limit damage to the already dirty biassed monster, that is Kunnesberg.

  3. My polling station in North Lynn was fairly busy when I went along there to cast my vote, which is good news in a ward where both local Councillors are Labour.

  4. Voted last week… we both have a postal vote as we are sometimes out of UK and I have mobility issues and there is only one! Parking space at the Polling Station…… voted To…..nah Labour all my life !

  5. Busy-ish at a polling station in LeedsNW

Toot di rechtiger zach – do the right thing – VOTE LABOUR!

  6. They look like younger voters too!

    Just a reminder:

At the last election there were 8 seats with majorities of less than 50 votes: 4 Labour, 2 SNP and 2 Conservative.

Every vote counts and the opinion polls may not be correct anyway.
My understanding is that you can still vote if you are in the queue at 22.00.

On another issue, I am sick and tired of certain people telling lies about Corbyn. He ought to seriously consider legal action.

Harold Wilson would not have been so understanding:

  7. Just watched the video and it had me in high spirited tears. C’mon Labour, we can do this. Text & message everyone you know to remind them to go vote Labour and help to save our NHS from Trump.

Laura K will probably spin these lengthy queues as grim for Labour !

  8. The Guardian is reporting the queues. However, it also has the perfectly valid caveat that it might just be people avoiding going out tonight.
    Fingers crossed.

  9. Queuing around the block in Southport a Tory seat, Labour were a very close second in 2017. I’m feeling this time labour will win ✊🏻🌹🤞🏻

  10. Ok, a little wager here. How many ballot boxes will be going “missing” accidentally this evening? 20? 40? Or more?

    1. Aidey Aitchdee. More….solidarity in this brave new reality and wonder if trackers should be compulsory on ballot boxes….bit late now and would we ever hear about it.?

  11. I’m not reading anything into this.

People are treating this as a brexit election; and there was a record turnout for the referendum…

  12. If you run a post about the exit poll:

The leadership should take the bugs bunny/tortoise & hare strategy.

This is election was to get Brexit done, that’s the narrative of the media in line with the Tory party.

Brexit however, is not going to be done by January or anytime soon after.

Corbyn, etc should every single day say when’s Brexit happening until it gets boring, whether it takes 3 Mon HS or 5 years, Labour will win the argument, and as New labour caused, the Tories will be lost to power for a generation.

That’s before the likelihood of fraud.

    Yours kindly,

    SR

  13. How did we get to the point of record queues, surges in registration, a campaign of tory lies and then the result of a lower turnout than 2 years ago?
