Sign/share petition to force weak May to #SackBorisJohnson

Theresa May’s humiliation after her failure in the General Election she called has continued to deepen in spite of persistent attempts by Tory politicians and the commentariat to minimise the impact of the loss of her majority to the ‘Corbyn surge’. So ‘weak and feeble’ is the Tory leader that Boris Johnson feels free to insult and manipulate her to his heart’s content. If he had a heart.

The absence of that organ has been made clear again by Johnson’s appallingly callous remarks about clearing dead bodies in Libya – to the amusement of his Tory audience and the dismay of decent people:

The reality of what Johnson seems to find a laughing matter is stark. The SKWAWKBOX makes no apologies for presenting that reality to its readers:

There are 500,000 displace people in Libya – and many thousands dead. But Johnson’s priority is “clearing the dead bodies” for the sake of tourists.

The UK’s Foreign Secretary should be concerned with bringing peace and security to the world, not exploiting and dehumanising people. He is not fit to serve – even in the opinion of some of his Tory colleagues:

But this outrage needs to be crystallised to have a hope of forcing a weak Prime Minister to do what she must – and no doubt wants to. A petition has been set up to do just that.

Theresa May gives her conference speech shortly – but she needs to be listening to the people rather than talking at them. We know that it is Johnson that needs to be ‘cleared’ out of the way, so we can hold our head up among nations.

Sign the petition and share it so she hears us.
