Mossad boss admits using Iranians as human shields to protect agents

Israeli spy agency boss David Barnea has admitted that Israel used Iranians as human shields to protect Mossad agents during the agency’s operations against Iran. But the colony escalated its tactics to direct murder for its 2026 regime change effort.

Barnea’s brazen admission of Israel’s intentional and cynical endangerment of Iranian civilians to protect itself is yet another demonstration of the colony’s arrogance and expectation of impunity.

Barnea told his audience at Israel’s closed ‘Priory Summit‘ that Mossad deliberately circulated real-time videos of its agents engaged in operations in Iran during the 2025 ’12 day war’ to force the government to arrest thousands:

We wanted to make sure they arrested so many people in Iran that they wouldn’t be able to distinguish the wheat [the actual Mossad agents] from the chaff and would eventually release everyone.

You have to imagine that when you arrest 21,000 people, even if you’ve caught an agent or two, eventually you have to release them… the IRGC would have no way of knowing who was a real agent with such a vast number of detainees.”

Showing complete contempt for Iranian lives – assuming he was telling the truth rather than engaging in more ‘psyops’ – Barnea also boasted that many arrested or executed as “Mossad agents” had no connection to do with the agency.

An escalated scam

Israel escalated its 2025 tactics during the CIA- and Mossad-orchestrated riots in early 2026. Media and governments – including the BBC as recently as November 2026 – have presented the riots as some kind of spontaneous popular uprising. But former US secretary of state Mike Pompeo couldn’t resist boasting about the US and Israel’s instigation and coordination of the violence.

The June sacking of Mossad’s deputy chief for failing to achieve regime change in Iran was a further confirmation, as was the exposed role of Israeli AI in the online disinformation campaign to cast the rioters as heroes and to reinstall a puppet shah. Yet the UK’s ‘mainstream’ media refuse to change their narrative.

But the colonial occupation apparently wasn’t satisfied with merely hiding behind Iranians for its 2026 campaign – and instead was ready to murder Iranians directly in an attempt to trigger more violence and blame Iranian police, who suffered at least 500 deaths at the hands of rioters, for the killings.

Forensic testing on bullets found inside murdered Iranian children found that the ammunition is Israeli-made. The Trump regime has done little to hide the involvement of US and, primarily, Israeli agents in the riots that began in late December in an attempt to collapse the Islamic Republic government. Intercepted messages to Israel’s spies showed Israel ordering them to shoot at Iranian police and, if that failed to provoke a response, then to shoot protesters to create the impression of state violence.

Israeli intelligence is not shy about its involvement either. Israeli press reported that Mossad’s Farsi-language account had called protesters to the streets with a promise to be “literally physically with them at the demonstrations”:

UK media were, of course, silent about all of this, too.

But post-mortem examinations of Iranian children murdered during the regime-change agitation has given even more substance to Israel’s involvement. For example, sources cited the case of an eight-year-old Isfahan girl killed when her family shopping trip was swamped by rioters. As the Cradle reported:

She was hit in the stomach, chin, and back of the head, with forensic analysis confirming the bullets were Israeli military-grade.

In another murder Melina Asadi, just three years old, was shot from behind and killed on 7 January while returning with her dad from a pharmacy in Kermanshah. The autopsy found the same kind of ammunition.

Reuters reports at least 5,000 deaths, 500 of them members of Iran’s security forces. The Iranian government has directly blamed the US and Israel for the killing of “several thousand” people. While western media and politicians have portrayed the deaths as the result of state repression, the available evidence suggests otherwise.

The presence of widespread Israeli spy networks in Iran is an open secret. As the Jerusalem Post confirmed, “hundreds” were involved in the assassinations that provoked the heavy Iranian response of the 2025 so-called ‘Tweve-day war”:

Last June, the Mossad had hundreds of agents involved in Israel’s 12-day war that set back Iran’s nuclear-weapons program, ballistic-missiles program, air-defense systems, and killed dozens of its top military and intelligence officers.

Now it’s clear that Israel was directly throwing away Iranian people’s lives even in 2025, and worse in 2026. Given the colonisers’ mass slaughter of Palestinians, no one should be surprised.
