SUMUD
The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) of civilian vessels sailing to Gaza will announce its mission and country launch details today, Monday 4 August at a press conference in Tunis. GSF brings together organisers and participants from more than forty countries in a peaceful, coordinated effort to break Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza and to draw continued attention to the occupation regime’s ongoing genocide and human rights violations against the Palestinian people.
At the press conference, GSF will announce key details of its upcoming maritime mission, including naming the participating countries, coalition members and the projected departure window.
Speakers Include GSF Steering Committee Members:
• Muhammad Nadir AI-Nuri
• Thiago Avila – a crew member on the Freedom Flotilla vessel Madleen, which was attacked and seized by Israel
• Maria Elena Delia
• Hayfa Mansouri
