British police state laid bare again
Metropolitan Police officers told anti-genocide protesters that pursuing an investigation against an Israel supporter who assaulted one of the humanitarian demonstrators is “not in the public interest” – and then threatened an anti-genocide protester for calling the Zionist group “creatures” on the basis that this was hate speech because ‘Zionist’ is an “ethnicity”:
The senior officer then went on to admit that it had been assault, but that all he was going to do was record it as an assault and then close the investigation with no further action:
The “Palestine Pulse” account that published the video commented:
Met police as usual fail to act on their duties to protect citizens from assault and abuse from violent Zionists in a protest. They instead let them go. One rule for us, one rule for them. Police fail to investigate an assault despite witnesses and video footage of the incident. They instead closed the investigation and let the Zionist suspect go.
Welcome to the United Kingdom of Israel.
As the protester rightly observed during the conversation, if an Israel support had been assaulted the response would have been entirely different. “Zionism” is a political ideology held by some Jews and some non-Jews – and rejected by many Jews (who are airbrushed out or ignored entirely by the ‘mainstream’ media) and non-Jews. It is not an ethnicity and identifying all Jews with Israel is considered antisemitic.
Meanwhile, Israel continues to enjoy the protect of the UK state and its enforcers as it slaughters Palestinians – approaching 450,000 so far.

Plod in thick as mince and lazy as f**k
expectationshock. An inspector as well**. I wouldn’t have the imbecile inspecting bus tickets; he’d probably accept a receipt from tesco and think only a waitrose receipt allows you on the upper deck.
**got at least one pip, although I wouldn’t be surprised to find the divvy has a higher rank.
**TWO pips, sorry.
No police officer was ever recruited for their intelligence or honesty.
Just went on JVLs website and, as such, spotted this. I’m pretty sure skwawkbox hasn’t posted about it, but maybe someone posted a comment about it which I missed:
Liverpool Trades Union Council Statement – Palestine Action is not a terrorist organisation
by Liverpool Trades Union Council, Labour Net
Liverpool Trades Union Council
19/07/25
The statement was adopted by Liverpool TUC on 17 July. It was then also adopted by the Merseyside Association of TUCs on 19 July.
Liverpool Trades Union Council condemns the decision to proscribe Palestine Action under Schedule 2 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and to define Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation similar to ISIL and Al Qaeda.
Terrorism involves actions designed to maim, kill or harm individuals or whole families. These would include:
Shooting unarmed people queuing for aid who do not pose a threat
Bombing a seafront café killing dozens, including children, elderly men and café workers
Bombing hospitals to destroy the medical system
Targeting journalists so that atrocities are not reported
The torture of Palestinians in custody
Committing war crimes and genocide.
This clearly describes the actions of the Israeli Defence Force
Direct action which does not target individuals, but the weapons used to carry out terrorist acts is not terrorism.
On the same day as MPs voted to proscribe non-violent direct action group Palestine Action female MPs posed for a picture wearing suffragette stye sashes…..
And the statement finishes thus:
We welcome TUCs such as Manchester and Glasgow voicing their opposition to the proscription of Palestine Action and urge all TUCs to do the same. We call on the trade union movement in general to defend our civil liberties and right to protest.
We call for the deproscription of Palestine Action
We will not be silenced!
Free Palestine!
https://www.jewishvoiceforlabour.org.uk/article/liverpool-trades-union-council-statement-palestine-action-is-not-a-terrorist-organisation/
If they were putting their statement together now, it would no doubt include the following in the list of actions which constitute terrorism:
Dropping aid in the sea and then shooting people trying to reach it
PS I don’t suppose any of the MSM are reporting this! I just did a search and the only thing I found was this short AP vid on youtube:
Palestinians risk their lives to retrieve air-dropped aid from the sea
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8aSEJoZdtc (1min 13secs)
This Independent article also came up in the results when I did a search, posted yesterday. It’s pretty long , but very detailed, and well worth checking out:
Why not enough food is reaching people in Gaza even after Israel eased its blockade

I hope, a formal complaint has been filed against the inspector that failed to arrest this Zionist fascist. Since when Zionism is an ethnicity?
Beside, assault is assault no matter the perpetrator. What we have here as clear as daylight is the racist nature of the British police, no doubt the Zionist fascist was white.
When the British establishment is going to get it? We don’t dislike them because they are Jews but, rather because they are fascists, plus no all Zionist are Jews.
In a perverse manner the protection of Zionist fascists by the establishment, could sadly result in an increase of antisemitism in which innocent Jews will be targeted.
‘When the British establishment is going to get it? We don’t dislike them because they are Jews but, rather because they are fascists…’
Oh the British establishment get it completely Maria. The problem is that they too are fascists….
I put the following comment together yesterday, and then forgot to post it, so my apologies for yet another post, but this one re the JLM is pretty remarkable.
It just occured to me to check out JLMs website – which I haven’t done for a couple of years or so – to see if they’ve posted anything in relation to Jeremy’s new party – ie Jeremy forming a new party. They haven’t as yet, but in the process I came across the following, which apart from being quite astonishing in itself, also puts the lie to all the abhorrent propaganda being dissembled at the moment in respect of children starving to death in Gaza (see Caitlin Johnstone’s article entitled Israel Apologists Think “No No, We’re Starving SICK Kids!” Is A Winning Argument):
Jewish Labour Movement statement in the week marking 600 days since 7 October
Posted by Jewish Labour Movement on May 30, 2025
This week marks 600 days since the 7th October 2023. On that date Hamas murdered more Jews than in any day since the Holocaust. It is a date seared not just in the memory but in the very soul of Israelis and Jews around the world. Now, nearly twenty months on, 58 hostages are still in captivity in Gaza, although some tragically no longer alive, and tens of thousands of Palestinians are dead. We see the pictures of those hostages still captive, in our synagogues and community spaces; we see pictures of Palestinian children who have been killed or at risk of malnutrition and starvation across the media. And it is heartbreaking.
The actions of the Netanyahu and the far right members of his Government has been a calamity – and it is getting worse. Starvation as a government policy can never be excused or justified. Yet last month defence minister, Israel Katz, stated “Israel’s policy is clear: no humanitarian aid will enter Gaza.”
The Jewish Labour Movement’s belief in social justice, at home and abroad, is fuelled by both our Jewish and Labour values. They are intertwined. In the Talmud (Sanhedrin 37a) it states: “Whoever saves a single life is considered by scripture to have saved the whole world.’ As Rabbi Janner-Klausner made clear, we reject the cruelty of the denial of food and humanitarian aid to Gaza as a tool of warfare: and are distraught at the desertion of the hostages there.
We are Zionists, we believe in Israel, but we utterly reject the actions of Prime Minister Netanyahu in placing his political survival above the needs of the country. As the families of the hostages said in a statement to mark the 600 day milestone: “The Israeli Government is abandoning [the hostages] to maintain the integrity of their coalition…Our families have become the victims of cheap politics at the hands of the Prime Minister.”…

Just think, if the JLM had supported Corbyn the UK wouldn’t have supported genocide, not spy flights over Gaza, and there would be more likelihood their hostages … and the 10,000 hostages that Israel have taken (many since well before October 7th 2023) …. could be home by now. Actions have consequences, and as always a mirror helps.
It happened on our last March in my city when a drunken women came out of a pub and hit one of our marchers then ran back in.
Many chanted outside the pub demanding her arrest and it took 15 minutes for the police to finally act.
Then later on the March 2 Zionists attacked two marchers and nothing was done by the police.
So do we have two tier policing in the UK and do Zionists in the UK have a free reign to commit violence without being held to account like in Palestine?
Some of us have complained to the Labour Deputy Mayor who has responsibility for the police in our area.
But the words of Justice Chamberlain still ring true: “Some of the police are misinterpreting the law and some don’t seem to understand it.”
“…….the words of Justice Chamberlain still ring true: “Some of the police are misinterpreting the law and some don’t seem to understand it.””
Would it be too much to anticipate and expect the Judiciary to actually address that issue rather than leaving it at stating the bleedin’ obvious?
Meanwhile, here’s all 1 hour 25 minutes Tucker Carlson interview with whistleblower retired US Army Lt. Col Aguilar:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRjEMbHXM4Q&ab_channel=TuckerCarlson
Who is very firm that war crimes are being committed in Gaza which are being carried out with the complicity of the USA.
Just as the UK Government are, both current and previous.
In regard to the attitude and approach of at least the Met – who have always considered themselves a law unto themselves – its constables and chain of command need to be challenged in situ with verbal statements by those being threatened with arrest by these thugs that they consider those police are breaching Section 25 of the Rome Statute and taking their shoulder badge numbers to report them for aiding and abetting war crimes.
The Guy arguing with the Inspector in my opinion is wrong when he said Israelis were creatures, under UK Equality law 2010..The Equality Act 2010 says that people must not be unfairly discriminated against because of:
colour
nationality
ethnic or national origins The Inspector was probably correct to say under hate crime laws it is wrong to call a National group ‘creatures’.
The recording does not support the claim made that the individual conversing with the ranking policeman referred to “Israeli’s” as creatures.
What the recording does show is that he referred to Zionist’s as creatures. Which, given that there exists a sizeable and significant proportion of Zionists who are not Israeli’s and who are not Jewish represents a significant difference.
In fact, the ranking policeman is factually incorrect on this point when he makes the assumption that Zionist is a single monolithic ethnicity limited to people from Israel – not all of whom are Zionists – when there are a variety of ethnicities containing Zionists. North Americans (USA), British and so on.
Zionism is not an ethnicity, it is an ideology. To conflate an ideology with an ethnicity which is considered to be exclusive to the Jewish community only when there are both many non-Zionist Jews and many non-Jewish Zionists would, in any other circumstances, be considered anti-Semitic under current practiced, albeit contested, definitions of the term.
Yes Dave the policeman was conflating Zionism with Israelis and or Jews, as I explained in a previous Skwarkbox comment the other day i.e.
“It seems the e mails from Kyle’s office conflate being anti Israeli or anti Zionist with being an anti Semite or anti Jewish. Nothing could be further from the truth as Professor David Miller proved in his case to the Employment Tribunal.
He claimed his belief that Zionism is “inherently racist, imperialist, and colonial” was a philosophical belief, a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010.
Zillur Rahman, who represented the academic at the tribunal, said his client has been “vindicated” and the “landmark case” marked “a pivotal moment in the history of our country for those who believe in upholding the rights of Palestinians”.
