UK calls for end to Gaza ‘war’ – then immediately sends another RAF spy flight over Gaza

Less than an hour later…

On Monday, the Starmer regime joined twenty-eight other nations in calling for an end to the ‘war’ in Gaza – still refusing to call Israel’s genocide a genocide.

Less than an hour later, another RAF surveillance aircraft flew from RAF Akrotiri to conduct another spy flight over Gaza, providing military intelligence and support to the genocidal occupier. On the same day, the coloniser regime murdered more children, bombed refugee tents, targeted fishermen trying to catch food amid Israel’s starvation blockade, its tanks opened fire on civilians desperate for aid after Israeli commanders ordered the refugees to come forward and slowly pass the tanks, raided the World Health Organisation’s headquarters to take staff hostage and strip and humiliate their families, and murdered a journalist and several other people while abducting a senior Palestinian doctor.

Keir Starmer belongs on trial in the Hague.

  1. I have asked this question before, but here goes again. On what authority does Starmer involve the UK in a war, where UK “assets” are used, and UK munitions sent, without Parliament ever being consulted and permission sought? The UK is NOT under any threat of imminent attack by the Palestinians, so the power to take immediate military action to defend the UK is not relevant. Even Blair and May consulted Parliament. Where are our MPs demanding a say in this?

    1. A note also to our military. “Just following orders was defined as irrelevant to a legal defence 80 years ago.

      1. This article refers:

        https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/customary-ihl/v1/rule154

        “Manifestly unlawful orders

This rule flows from the duty to respect international humanitarian law (see Rule 139) and is also a corollary of the rule that obeying a superior order is not a defence of a war crime, if the subordinate should have known that the act ordered was unlawful because of its manifestly unlawful nature (see Rule 155). In finding that superior orders, if manifestly unlawful, cannot be a defence, several courts based their judgements on the fact that such orders must be disobeyed.[

Besides the practice related to the defence of superior orders, practice specifying that there is a duty to disobey an order that is manifestly unlawful or that would entail the commission of a war crime is contained in the military manuals, legislation and official statements of numerous States. This rule is confirmed in national case-law.

This practice, together with the fact that a subordinate who commits a war crime pursuant to an order which is manifestly unlawful cannot invoke that order as a defence and remains guilty of that crime (see Rule 155), means that there is a duty to disobey such an order.”

Taken in conjunction with Section 25 of the Rome Statute – which has been posted previously – regarding the aiding and abetting of war crimes, specifically……

        “Individual criminal responsibility

        1. The Court shall have jurisdiction over natural persons pursuant to this Statute.

        2. A person who commits a crime within the jurisdiction of the Court shall be individually responsible and liable for punishment in accordance with this Statute.

        3. In accordance with this Statute, a person shall be criminally responsible and liable for punishment for a crime within the jurisdiction of the Court if that person:

…….(d) In any other way contributes to the commission or attempted commission
of such a crime by a group of persons acting with a common purpose. Such
contribution shall be intentional and shall either:

        (i) Be made with the aim of furthering the criminal activity or criminal
purpose of the group, where such activity or purpose involves the
commission of a crime within the jurisdiction of the Court; or

(ii) Be made in the knowledge of the intention of the group to commit the
        crime;”

……a reasonable case can be made that those obeying orders to harass and arrest citizens attempting to protest against the aiding and abetting of war crimes such as this and those associated with it are also liable as well as those at the level of Starmer, the Cabinet and Police Command.

It should not be beyond the wit and resources of the wider organised protest movement to produce simple A5/A6 cards quoting these passages of International Law, which also puts the question…..

“Are YOU aiding and abetting a war crime by carrying out an ILLEGAL ORDER?”

……and handing them out to police at demonstrations and when challenged by the police as a means of impacting morale.

    2. The UK has a military deal with Israel that is so secret that even standing MPs cannot view it. I’m genuinely surprised we’re even aware of it’s existence.

  2. Why is the UK Labour Cabinet taking sides (as the previous Tory Cabinet did) and arming, using spy planes for, and enabling the illegal Israeli Occupation Force’s Genocide?
When Palestinians have not declared was on us.
And in fact as someone on here pointed out 784 British soldiers & staff including women were killed by extreme Zionist groups between 1945-48 in Palestine (Oxford Soldiers Museum) and the extreme Zionists hung some of the bodies of these British soldiers from trees (see newspaper reports of the time).
During the 2WW one Zionist group also contacted the Nazis offering to fight for them in the Middle East whilst 12,000 Palestinians volunteered and fought alongside the British against the Nazis.
Is this your Zionism Labour & Tories?
Both Cabinets belong in the ICJ dock.
    Ceasefire now!
    Yours in Peace.

      1. The cats seem to be just dropping like flies in the (alleged) Caribbean this week.

Does Leslie Neilson know you are breaching his copyright from the famous Naked Gun film scene by the way, Billy?

      2. Dave – 🥱 – A simple ‘thank you’ for the info would have sufficed 😴

      3. Dave – I have absolutely no idea what you prattling on about, do you?

      4. Pull the other one, Billy. It hath got bells on.

A ‘thank you’ is hardly appropriate in a context in which the clear intention (even to a blind man on a galloping horse) is to divert the discussion and debate away from the criminal complicity of the War Criminals you shill for.

        Get back under your rock.

      5. Dave – I’ll take that as a NO then.

    1. Oh…the rest must’ve deleted itself

      Was meant to read:

keef, his tart, thieves and rayner, took thousands of pounds in donations for clothes.

Weren’t any rules on unite bosses accepting gifts/donations.

      So nothing to see, there.

      1. Toffee – A very succinct and revealing response, thanks. 😏

      2. Ignore the wannabe amateur troll, Toffee. He’s simply trying to derail the conversation away from the crimes of the War Criminals he supports and shills for.

If he were an honest actor, he would be sticking to the wider subject at hand rather than this pathetic slapping dead cats on the table approach.

      3. …. and yet here you are actively drawing attention to my comment. 😕

      4. Dave – 🥱
Oh for goodness sake, give your silly vendetta a rest. Prior to my post at 3:37pm there had been all of 6 comments on this page and there hadn’t been a new comment for nigh on 4 hours.

      5. Not so, Billy.

I’m drawing attention to the intent of the post in order to alert readers to what you are trying to do.

        There is a substantive difference.

What you are doing right now, Billy, is actively assisting me in that endeavour. But if you want to keep digging and undermining your credibility even further to prove my point for me, sucker, that’s your problem.

      6. Dave – “I’m drawing attention to the intent of the post in order to alert readers to what you are trying to do.”

AKA stuff you’ve made up as part of your silly vendetta.
My intention was to simply inform about what I thought was an important development in a long going saga at Unite. Do you have any comments to make about the contents of this report that has been published by Unite.

      7. An afternoon nap at this time of the day?

Perhaps you should visit the M.O., Billy.

  3. ON TOPIC

Defend our Juries are organising an action requiring at least 500 people to sign up to for Saturday August 9th. This will be in London:

    https://defendourjuries.org/lift-the-ban/

“Defend Our Juries and partner organisations are now calling on at least 500 individuals to sign up for action on August 9th 2025. This action would be the first of its kind in opposition to the proscribing of a direct action group. The action is conditional on reaching our target of at least 500 commitments.”

“Please read our Action Briefing Document and complete the form on this page so that we can keep you updated on plans for a mass-participatory action on August 9th. This action will only take place if we reach at least 500 commitments to action. There is safety in numbers. Every single person counts.”

      1. Billy, unlike some folks, I’m [checks notes] “simply informing about an important” on topic development which is relevant to the topic under discussion and am at a loss to understand just what it is that has clearly got under your skin.

    3. If I was safely retired with no job to worry about, I’d be all over this like a shot. I’m even in London on that day, too. I’ll be following this on the train home, though, for sure. Thanks, Dave.

  4. Sadly, for whatever reason, I cannot post links. If you were to search for Stark naked brief (no spaces), there’s a wonderful article on the shenanigans of the UK government concerning the Afghan leak. Please take them time to find this as you’re going to be shock on how far this goes and who done what.

Rachel from accounts shafted the Grannies, told us about £20 billion missing. Spent £7 billion so far on the cover up, and it’s going to cost a lot more.
