While Gaza is starving, the US is shamelessly set to destroy 500 tons of emergency food rations it has been storing in West Asia “for an emergency”.
State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, who last month described the US as the second-greatest country in the world after Israel, not only showed no sign of embarrassment at the mass destruction of food – fortified biscuits capable of feeding 27,000 starving people for a month – but responded sarcastically to the American journalist who asked the question: “Oh that’s very clever”:
Requests for the rations to be redirected to Gaza were refused, despite mass child starvation that on Friday killed tiny Sana Allaham in al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital and has pushed hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children to the edge of death even if they escape Israel’s bombs.
Thousands more tonnes of food are blocked by Israel at the Gaza border while Israel uses fake ‘GHF’ ‘aid stations’ as bait to slaughter and maim starving families and children.

Thing is Bazza, how do ‘we’ fight back (when they go full throttle with the A/S smear campaign again, as they undoubtedly would if JCs new party started making headway)? The only way I can see of neutralising such an attack – as I’ve said on more than a few occasions before – is for us, the left, to put leaflets together which expose the previous smear campaign when Jeremy was leader for what it was – ie a litany of lies and falsehoods and distortion – and put them through people’s doors en masse. If there were thousands of us all over the country putting hundreds of thousands of such leaflets through people’s doors (at the end of which it would say, in bold: PLEASE COPY AND/OR SCAN AND CIRCULATE TO FRIENDS AND RELATIVES AND WORK COLLEAGUES ETC), we could potentially reach millions of people who have been duped and deceived and cheated. And given the fraudulent attacks on pro-Palestinian marchers and student protests, there would undoubtedly be tens of thousands of others (who get a leaflet through their door) who would print off a hundred, or two or three hundred copies or more and put them through people’s doors as well, and so on.
And such a project would, ideally, need to be done BEFORE the new party is up and running and/or in the early months after it’s established.
