Video shows police punching peaceful Palestine protester in face unprovoked

Peaceful protest against ban on Palestine Action anti-genocide group suffers vicious police attacks

Footage of several incidents of police conduct during Monday’s protests against the Starmer government’s anti-democratic plan to label anti-genocide group Palestine Action as an ISIS-like terrorist group have shown excessive force and even violence perpetrated by police – who had already banned the protest from its planned location outside Parliament and made it move to London’s Trafalgar Square – used against peaceful protesters.

But few clips have shown such wanton violence as this clip that has surfaced showing a police officer, apparently without provocation or any aggression from the victim, punching a protester full in the face as police start dragging people away:

Video: Sara Ibrahim, Facebook.

No action seems to have been taken by the Met Police against the officer in question. The Starmer regime is waging a constantly escalating war on free speech and peaceful protest, including journalists and left-wing Jews, to protect Israel from scrutiny and criticism over its genocide of 400,000 people and counting and illegal starvation blockade in Gaza, its oppression of the Palestinian people and its attacks on its neighbours and on Iran.

  4. I hope the guy is OK. This is a timely reminder. The Filth are not your friends. The represent the Rich, The Corporates, The Political and Media Clases and, above all the Establishment, They are directly responsible to the Crown. They are a bunch of thugs.

    1. My father and brother-in-law were both coppers, and I knew absolutely loads. Never came across one who wasn’t an extreme rightwinger, a liar, and obsessed that everyone else (!!) was an out and out criminal. At the age of TEN (in the times of writing statements with pen/pencil), my father warned me to sign a statement immediately at the last line of writing, NOT at the bottom of the page because the buggers would fill in half a page of confession. What he thought I was going to do at the age of ten I have no idea!

  5. “The anonymous Home Office briefing about Iran came two days after the advocacy group We Believe in Israel tweeted: “Behind Palestine Action’s theatre of resistance stands a darker puppeteer: the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps … Palestine Action is the mask. The IRGC is the face.”

The only evidence it provided was saying that the IRGC’s vocabulary “echoes in Palestine Action’s slogans”.

We Believe in Israel launched a campaign to ban Palestine Action this month and language from a report it published was similar to that used by Cooper in her statement.”
