Video: Iran strikes US base in Qatar in retaliation for Trump’s failed attack on civilian nuclear facilities

Iran clearly isn’t short of missiles – and hasn’t delayed the start of its retaliation

Iranian short and medium range ballistic missiles have struck a US base in Qatar, as the Iranian government retaliates for the Trump regime’s illegal – under US and international law – and failed bombing of three civilian nuclear facilities. The night sky over Doha was filled with lights as the missiles came in and the US forces tried to shoot them down:

Iranian TV announced that:

“Operation Annunciation of Victory” has begun against the Al Udeid American (air) base in Qatar.

Chaos erupted in a Doha shopping mall as the retaliatory missiles rained down:

No indications of the extent of damage to the US base appear to be available yet, but large areas of Tel Aviv – up to a third, according to military experts – have been damaged in a few days of retaliatory Iranian strikes there. UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy had arrogantly claimed yesterday to have ‘talked the Iranians down to an off-ramp’ and called for Iran not to retaliate, but it seems clear both that the Iranians do not intend to be docile victims of US and Israeli imperialism and bullying and that they are not suffering any shortage of missiles after their barrages against the Zionist occupation.

Iranian general Mohsen Rezaee told Iranian TV viewers that Iran’s military has only used five percent of its total capacity so far in its retaliation against Israel and the US and seemed to suggest that the closure of the Hormuz Strait is imminent, warning Israeli civilians to evacuate and flee immediately:

Iran’s parliament has also voted to close the vital Strait of Hormuz, which carries a third of global gas and a quarter of global oil consumption, though it has not yet done so. Yemen has also said that it will attack any US- or Israel-linked shipping in the Red Sea in solidarity with Iran, potentially closing off the only other feasible oil and gas transit and massively impacting the economies of the US and those slavish or foolish enough to join its imperialism. This is likely to include the UK, after Keir Starmer said he would view any retaliation for Trump’s terrorism as an ‘attack on NATO’.

  1. Dave H made a great point today that Russia has a base in Iran with a secure defence system against US planes and that on Instagram Russia also said a third country could give Iran nuclear weapons.
    So that went well Donny?
    Fools rush in?
I also made the point that Trump was now begging China to ask Iran not to close the straits.
In these attacks Iran probably also pre warned the US so they could get their personnel out.
It seems that Lumpen Trump is being schooled by Iran, Russia et al but the worry is the lumpen has access to a war machine though his equally lumpen base don’t want forever wars.
I keep thinking of what we chant at our Palestinian marches:
“From the belly of the beast.
    Hands off the Middle East!”
And I keep thinking about Iraq where the Western Barbarians slaughtered 1m based on a lie, for oil profits.
But Iraq did humanity one favour, the capitalist West are shit scared at the prospect of their troops being massacred for THEIR PROFITS and the home reaction.
Stop aiming to steal Gaza/Arab land & assets for profit.
    Free Palestine!

  2. All ships coming to Europe will be blocked from Hormuz gas prices will go through the roof food prices will be doubled probably and this is all thanks to the orange fucking duck and his supporting gremlings

    1. ” and his supporting gremlings.”

Quite. Let’s not hide the very key role of the “supporting gremlings” found in places like Chatham House, The Council of Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission and the London Establishment under a bushel in all this shenanigans.
