Far-right Israeli PM who reportedly fled to Greece tries to mock Iranians he claims are fleeing
Iran has launched three waves of ballistic missiles in a new barrage at oil refineries and scientific targets in northern Israel this evening, in retaliation for continued Israeli strikes and for the colony’s assassination of senior military officers and civilian scientists, whose names Iran has said it has proof the International Atomic Energy Agency leaked to Israel, last week. The strikes caused a major fire in the Bazan oil refinery and forced residents living nearby to flee to shelters. No fatalities have been reported.

In a grovelling address to Donald Trump, wishing Trump a happy birthday and apparently trying to manipulate Trump into attacking Iran directly, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu claimed to have information that Iranian leaders were already ‘packing their bags’ to flee the destruction he said Israel was going to rain down on them.
But Netanyahu made that video in Greece, where he fled last week to hide from Iranian missiles, leaving Israelis to face the consequences of his actions while he shelters abroad:
The likely impetus for this cowardice was exposed in a video that leaked from Israel, despite reported attempts by the regime to quash it, showing dozens of Iranian missiles hitting targets in Israel time after time, in a mass failure – not for the first time – of Israel’s vaunted ‘Iron Dome’ anti-missile system:
Netanyahu is not alone – reports continue of hundreds of Israelis trying to get back to Europe to flee the strikes. At least 83,000 Israelis emigrated permanently to Europe last year, double the annual number from 2009-2021 – but some reports claim more than half a million of Israel’s nine million population fled the country just in the period from October 2023 to July 2024:
Netanyahu’s desperation to provoke or cajole Trump into ordering US forces to attack Iran directly went as far as trying to claim that Iran has tried to assassinate Trump – twice – and claiming that US casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan were killed by Iran.
And he also claimed, wildly, that Iran was planning to give nuclear weapons – which they haven’t developed – to its ‘terrorist proxies’ to use against Israel in ‘nuclear terrorism on steroids’, which would mean groups like Hezbollah and Hamas using nuclear weapons within a few miles of their own countries and people.

Greece and Israel maintain a strong defence and diplomatic relationship, formalised through agreements that allow for mutual support, including the use of military infrastructure during emergencies. Netanyahu fleeing to Athens confirms Greece’s role as a “reliable ally” offering logistical and operational support to Israel’s scaredy-cat leader in the genocide and crises he created to try and save his miserable political career.
At least Hitler’s Bunker was in Berlin. Netanyahu – another author of a “Final Solution” – flees wherever the wind blows….
It seems the Israeli bully has bitten off more than it can chew.
In addition to condemning the Israeli aggression that initiated this situation, we need to face up to the problem we have with the duplicity of our own government.
It is an outrage and offensive to the better instincts of our population that British service personnel should be ordered to insert themselves into this growing international disaster, on the side of a state that has normalized genocide and general lawlessness in the sphere of diplomacy.

The use of RAF Mildenhall by the USA to help support this act of aggression means that the UK is actively involved in waging war on Iran.

@timfrom, yeah – i looked into it, apparently there is a date format that puts the year first is known as the “year-month-day” format, often written as “YYYY-MM-DD”. It constitutes ISO 8601 standard for date representation and I suspect it’s probably a preferred format for Zuckerberg or Musk or Bezos..
Sorry Tim but you seem EXTREMELY willing to swallow Israeli propaganda. The initial story was the somewhat “unlikely” one that it was Israel’s ambassador to Greece on the flight. My, my, do we send OUR ambassadors to second-division countries on OUR Starmer-Wings-of-Zion flying fortress? A relatively lowly ambassador on a presidential jet? Excuse me for being sceptical. As with all Israeli output in the media, I prefer to believe EVERYTHING they state is a lie. I’m usually proved right, too.

This is the language and the actions of the mafia. Trump was replaying the relevant scenes from the Godfather, with a planned hit taking out a rival group using hired hit men.
There is no way to talk or negotiate with such rabid dogs. The example has been set and no Western leader/decision maker at any level can have any complaints if or when it becomes open season on them.

According to international humanitarian law (IHL), health establishments and units, including hospitals, should not be attacked. This protection extends to the wounded and sick as well as to medical staff and means of transport.
That’s a quote from a little-known organisation called the International Committee of the Red Cross. Some (non-Israelis) may have heard of it. It’s a war crime. But just another to add to the ever growing number I suppose.
