Video: French crew member Rima Hassan says next flotilla vessel already about to sail to Gaza

Freshly back from abduction by Israel, French MEP is defiant as she addresses huge crowd of supporters in Paris on Thursday evening

Rima Hassan MEP, the French politician and volunteer crew member of the Freedom Flotilla humanitarian vessel Madleen, which was attacked and pirated by Israel in international waters on Monday, returned to France from her abduction only on Thursday evening, but by 9pm the same night she was already addressing a huge crowd of anti-genocide activists in Paris.

And she was defiant, telling the crowd that she had one message for Israel – far from being deterred by the coloniser state’s violence and arrogance, the next flotilla ship is already about to set sail for Gaza:

Hassan spoke as news broke that the Jewish anti-Zionist Congress has demanded the return of the Madleen and its cargo – along with the expulsion of Israel from the United Nations and the prosecution of every western politician who has enabled, assisted or covered for the apartheid regime’s slaughter and starvation of hundreds of thousands of innocent Palestinians.

Palestinian journalist Nahed Hajjaj spoke on Thursday about what the Madleen’s voyage and the ongoing humanitarian Global March to Gaza means to him and to the Palestinian people facing a genocidal oppressor:

May news of the next vessel’s departure soon lift their spirits further in their defiance.

  1. “France has repeatedly condemned Iran’s ongoing nuclear programme and has taken all appropriate diplomatic measures in response. In this context, France reaffirms Israel’s right to defend itself and ensure its security.”

Yes, we’re completely through the looking glass and into the lands of the lunatics, where one nuclear armed country reckons another nuclear armed country is defending itself when it hasn’t been threatened. Can the last one out of the asylum switch off the lights, ta?
