Mencer even sinks to asking C4’s Guru-Murthy if he’s challenging Israel’s lies because they’re Jews
Official Israeli mouthpiece David Mencer suffered a dramatic meltdown on Tuesday evening under even basic challenge from Channel 4 News’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy about Israel’s murder today of at least 27 Palestinian civilians trying to get food from Israel’s ‘aid’ station – the only food available in Gaza after Israel’s complete starvation blockade on Israel for more than 3 months. The murders were the latest in a string of mass killings at the mercenary-run, Israeli-intelligence-funded ethnic cleansing ‘aid’ fronts:
Mencer’s brittle composure fell apart when Guru-Murthy refused to allow him to bluff or bluster and pointed out mildly that the occupation’s claim that a video clip showed ‘Hamas’ shooting Palestinian civilians has been proven to be a lie, as the clip shows a different time and location (and the shooters were an Israeli-funded criminal gang).
Mencer had apparently been banking on that clip not being challenged, as he quickly imploded to the point of even asking Guru-Murthy whether he was scrutinising Israel “because we’re Jewish”:
Israel’s mouthpieces seem not to know how to handle any scrutiny, presumably having not experienced much from the ‘mainstream’ media for so long. Channel 4, usually operating to a better standard than other ‘MSM’ channels, did a decent job tonight and decent was all that was needed to trigger an implosion. By contrast, an hour later the BBC was re-running the discredited Israeli footage and repeating its claims without challenge.

The problem is that all too often there is a failure to effectively challenge Israeli ‘spokespersons’.
They are allowed to literally get away with murder.
“The IDF operates under International Law” Mencer is a bare face liar. You aren’t questioned because you are Jewish but, because you lie, you are fascist scum that consistently engage in war crimes and genocide.
At some point, in the future we are going to need the equivalent to the Nuremberg Trials and ensure that Netanyahu, Smotrich, Ben Gavir, Mercer and many others, including white Zionists, complicit with the genocide, are summarily executed or spend the rest of their lives in prison.

The BBC should never have taken Israel’s disinformation seriously – not least because Israeli claims are always shown to be lies when subjected to any serious independent scrutiny. The default position should be that Israel is lying until it can demonstrate convincingly that it is not.
Doctors treating the dead and wounded immediately pointed out that their injuries were consistent with Israeli gunfire. The victims had single shots to the head or chest, in line with targeting by Israeli snipers. Others suffered shrapnel wounds from tank shells. Hamas has no tanks.
Now expert analysis of the video itself – paradoxically confirmed by BBC Verify – shows that the footage was filmed in Khan Younis, far from Rafah, where the Palestinians aid seekers were killed. It is also apparent from the shadows that the video was taken in the evening, not in the morning when the Palestinians in Rafah were shot.
Despite this, the BBC still writes: “The circumstances of this strike are unclear.”
No, it is entirely clear that the Israeli army disseminated lies, and that the BBC lapped up those lies and spread them to its audiences via its main news shows, before tentatively retracting the lies quietly on a live feed on its website….
