US, Hamas agree ceasefire deal – Israel says no unless Gaza population expelled

As before, Israeli regime and Zionism block path to peace and release of Israeli captives

Representatives of Palestinian militant group Hamas have reached a temporary ceasefire deal with US special envoy Steve Witkoff after negotiations in Qatar, according to US sources.

Under the terms of the two-stage 60-day deal, humanitarian aid would be allowed into Gaza from day one, breaking Israel’s starvation blockade that has lasted almost three months, and the US would ensure the withdrawal of Israeli troops, while five Israeli captives who have survived Israel’s mass bombing so far would also be released at the start, with five more at the end of the period, along with the bodies of those killed in the bombardment.

Israel has not yet officially commented, but Israeli officials speaking anonymously have said that Israel will not accept the deal and that wanted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli PM, will continue to reject any deal that does not include the expulsion of all Palestinians from Gaza – the crime of ethnic cleansing under international law:

Western media and Israel’s UK apologists continue to claim that the ‘war will end as soon as the hostages are released’ and UK ‘mainstream’ media have rarely if at all mentioned the Netanyahu regime’s dismissal of Israeli captives as a priority and its insistence on complete ethnic cleansing as a condition for so-called ‘peace’, and the UK government is silent today on the proposed ‘deal’, but it is clear that Israel’s government and its Zionist extremism, as has previously been seen, remain a block to peace, an end to the genocide of Palestinian innocents and the release of the remaining Israeli captives.

Al-Jazeera: At least 30 civilians, including children, were killed in an Israeli massacre at Al-Jarjawi School in Gaza City, where displaced families were sheltering. “The Israeli occupation forces make no distinction, killing men, women and children.”

  2. The US doing posturing. Trumps knows that Israel isn’t going to stop because while signing a deal with Hamas, the US still exporting arms to Israel and trading with Israel.
In time, Trump will use this agreement and try to escape been branded as war criminal. Very much the same as the recent remonstrations of Lammy towards Israel, all words and no substance. Purely trying to covert their backs.

    1. Due to its abysmal behaviour during the previous cease fire, Israhell , iethe war criminals running it should not have any right to veto it. Arming them needs to be stopped forthwith, and the war criminals need to be arrested now and dealt with. Enough is enough!

  3. What I find intolerably sick is the opposing attitudes to deaths. There was wall to wall coverage of the two Israelis killed in Washington. We were told everything about them, bar their shoe size, their hopes for their future together, where they intended getting engaged, their entire life story. When it comes to Palestinian children, it is purely a number as though it’s the results from a mid-table Minor Counties cricket match … with the impression that that’s the level of importance. The media in the UK is as sick as the political parties and government.

    1. “The media in the UK is as sick as the political parties and government.”

And just as complicit in aiding and abetting that Genocide against the provisions laid out in the Rome Statute by providing political and “moral” (sic) cover for that Genocide.
