Archived comms show Israel’s Mossad helped by UK and others to commit ‘assassination spree’ in Europe

A secret network of Western intelligence agencies, including those of the UK, provided Israel with help to carry out a campaign of assassinations of Palestinians living in Europe, a new report by a UK-based Jewish academic has revealed. Her report has been ignored by almost all the UK’s ‘mainstream’ media.
Historian Dr Aviva Guttmann, a specialist in the history of strategy and intelligence at Aberystwyth University, studied encrypted cables taken from Swiss archives and found that no fewer than eighteen western intelligence agencies including the UK and US participated in a secret network code-named ‘Kilowatt’ that shared key information with Israel that helped it murder Palestinians across Europe. France, Italy, Switzerland and West Germany were also involved.
The information provided included intelligence on safe houses, vehicles and people for a campaign that killed at least ten Palestinians in France, Italy and Cyprus among other places. The intelligence agencies were aware that their information was helping to murder Palestinians. At no point was this participation shared with the UK parliament or public.
Guttmann said:
A lot was very granular, linking individuals to specific attacks and giving details that would be of great help. Perhaps at the very beginning, [western officials] were unaware [of the killings] but afterwards there was a lot of press reporting and other evidence suggesting strongly what the Israelis were doing.
They were even sharing the results of their own investigations into the assassinations with the agency – Mossad – which was most likely to have done them…
When it comes to intelligence-sharing between services of different states, oversight is very difficult. International relations of the secret state are completely off the radar of politicians, parliaments or the public. Even today, there will be a lot of information being shared about which we know absolutely nothing
The first victim of the campaign was Palestinian intellectual Wael Zwaiter, gunned down in Rome. Those who knew him insisted that he was not involved in any militant activity but was accused by the west of supporting Black September (BSO), the group that carried out the killing of Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics.
Also murdered after being discussed in the Kilowatt cables, this time in Paris, was the PLO’s envoy to France, Mahmoud al-Hamshari. Mohamed Boudia, a veteran of the Algerian independence war was also killed.
Civilians with no connection to Palestine were also murdered. Mossad thought it had identified BSO leader Ali Hassan Salameh from a photograph provided by Britain’s MI5 and murdered their target in Lillehammer, Norway – who turned out to be a Moroccan waiter.
The current UK government and military are providing Israel with direct assistance in targeting Palestinians in Gaza as Israel commits genocide. RAF planes are conducting spy flights daily over Gaza and are believed to have refueled Israeli warplanes, while some reports indicate that UK special forces have spent prolonged periods on the ground there, while the Starmer regime has continued to supply Israel with weapons it claimed to have embargoed because they were known to be used to kill civilians.

It would be useful to know what time period covers these assassinations. There are no dates mentioned at all.
timfrom – It was the 1970s

One of the major comprehension difficulties is that the media treat deaths in GAZA in much the same way and with as much gravity as they used to give the scores of the Minor Counties cricket league….
Lincolnshire 257 for 8, 398 Palestinians killed in Gaza, Norfolk 260 all out, 27 Palestinians killed in the West Bank.
And our politicians to their eternal shame much the same. “We would like to see a two-state solution at the same time as we put £98 million into grass roots cricket…..”
The report is not leaping out at me, but she has a book due imminently:
