Israel Katz’s ‘final warning’ continues regime’s open genocidal intent
Israeli ‘defence’ minister Israel Katz – successor to wanted war criminal Yoav Gallant – has issued a chilling Holocaust-reminiscent threat to Gaza’s surviving Palestinian civilians in yet another open expression of genocidal intent by the Israeli occupation regime.
Telling the people of Gaza that the slaughter so far of at least 200,000 civilians, mostly women and children, was only Israel’s ‘first step’, Katz – making clear that he is addressing the civilian population – told them that ‘you will bear the full cost’ and will face ‘destruction and total devastation’.
And he made clear that Israel wants the whole of Gaza for itself – an unequivocal breach of international law – with a threat of supposedly voluntary ‘relocation to other parts of the world’, which comes after Israel has resumed its mass bombing, announced plans to ‘deport’ Palestinians to Italy and Romania, where it has no right to send them, and is demanding Egypt and Jordan accommodate its ethnic cleansing plans:
Residents of Gaza, this is your final warning. The first Sinwar destroyed Gaza, and the second Sinwar will bring upon it total ruin. The Israeli Air Force’s attack against Hamas terrorists was only the first step. What follows will be far harsher, and you will bear the full cost.
Evacuation of the population from combat zones will soon resume. If all Israeli hostages are not released and Hamas is not kicked out of Gaza, Israel will act with force you have not known before.
Take the advice of the U.S. President: return the hostages and kick out Hamas, and new options will open up for you – including relocation to other parts of the world for those who choose. The alternative is destruction and total devastation.“
Katz’s fascist-Orwellian and terrorist language of ‘total devastation’ ignored, of course, the fact that Israel has already murdered so many, destroyed health, educational and sanitary infrastructure, targeted medics, emergency workers, journalists, aid workers and their families and has destroyed almost all the homes of what was, before the slaughter, a population of over 2.2 million people. The likely death toll so far is likely to be over 400,000 and as many as 700,000 based on Trump’s statements about forced relocation, with many thousands more maimed – and Israel has re-imposed its starvation blockade of food, water, medicine, electricity and other essentials for life.
Katz’s ‘final warning’ sounds chillingly like another notorious ‘final’ something. Israel must not be allowed to succeed, but Trump’s US and Keir Starmer’s UK government are enabling, not impeding or even opposing, the genocide. If any of them cared about the remaining Israeli captives, more bombing and shooting would not be on the menu after Israel’s attacks killed the captives who have died since 7 October 2023.
The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Gallant and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu for crimes against humanity. It’s time for Katz to be added to the list, along with any western politician who colludes or collaborates in Israel’s genocide.

I agree Dave, Israel is intent on slaughtering anyone who stands in the way of its greater Israel plans, they [7 million] are surrounded by approx 400 million Muslims, unfortunately only Ansar Allah [the Houthis] have the bottle to do anything about the Genocide, they happen to be over 2000 Kilometers away. Surely the Arab states must realize they are next for the Israel/US big stick treatment. What’s up with them or do they have no self respect?
