Lawyers release video of Mahmoud Khalil abduction as 2nd protester kidnapped

Khalil’s illegal detention on show as Leqaa Kordia becomes second victim of fascist purge

Lawyers acting for Columbia University anti-genocide protester Mahmoud Khalil, whom the Trump regime abducted and has smeared – and wants to deport despite him being a legal permanent resident and the state admitting he has committed no crime, have released footage of his abduction:

The release comes on the day that a second anti-genocide protester from Columbia has become the victim of state kidnapping. Leqaa Kordia, a West Bank Palestinian studying at the university in New York, was abducted by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security has alleged that she took part in a 2024 protest against Israel’s slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent Palestinians – again, such protest is not a crime.

Leqaa Kordia.

Ms Kordia is being held in a Texas detention facility.

    1. And so much for smarmerist labour. Who knew they’d be torier than the tories?

Also, don’t give us your tom tit about vance & free speech, when keef’s having journalists and protestors here arrested AND charged with all sorts.

      Gobshite.

  1. There is no free speech has they want you to take theirs has true the media has paved the way for these devils with forked tongues

  2. A US Right Wing ‘Show Trial’ and setting an example to frighten any other US critical thinkers who dare to peacefully challenge the US sponsorship & support, with arms, of Genocide by the Israeli Occupation Force.
If the US had an independent judiciary these cases would be laughed out of court.
But they have political appointees like the Supreme Court (SC) so will the SC stand by the US Constitution or do Trumps bidding which makes US Law An Ass.
Funny, the US Right it is ok for thousands of Trump protesting supporters to violently storm the White House with some threatening to hang the then Vice President if they’d have got hold of him.
This is what happens when you have 2 Big Business Parties and one plays a significant number of the masses in the absence of a Left Wing Democratic Socialist Party which the US needs.
Trump got 77.3m votes, Harris 75m and an estimated 5m who would vote Democrat refused to vote Democrat because it would be legitimising the Democrats & now Trump’s support for Genocide.
And this is what happens when lumpen oligarchs get power.
    Solidarity to the US Left.

    1. “This is what happens when you have austerity for the many and money printing like there’s no tomorrow for the few.

Every time capitalism stagnates, and inequality surges, the official ‘left’ joins the center in a futile attempt to bail out the bankrupt liberal establishment. Do you know what is around the corner every time that happens? Fascism and War, as in the 1930s.

Two varieties of totalitarianism began to tussle for power: the radicalized Neo fascist right promises to make us great again: not through ending austerity or exploitation but through a moral Reckoning; a cultural cleansing that targets the impure foreign bodies in the pure body of the nation … on the other side you have the radicalized totalitarian centrists who succeeded in retaining their relevance as the only bulwark against the fascists. How? With policies that deepen the crisis that fuels fascism. This is the definition of a vicious circle.”
