Video: Streeting admits Labour worse than Tories

‘We’re doing things Tories only talked about’, says red Tory health secretary – before going on to list cuts and warmongering

Right-wing Labour Health Secretary Wes Streeting has ‘said the quiet part out loud’ and admitted that Starmer’s Labour is worse than the Tories and mounting an assault on the state and social security that British people depend on – and going further than the Tories ever dared.

And, in a sign of how removed the red Tories are from the real lives and experience of ordinary people, he didn’t seem even to realise what he was giving away, instead boasting about it and claiming this was ‘change’ that people had voted for:

Not many did vote for it, of course: Labour gained far fewer votes in the last general election than in either of Jeremy Corbyn’s – achieving ‘victory’ only because it was manufactured by fascist Reform standing against Tory candidates, sometimes with fake candidates – and has only collapsed catastrophically since then and has done nothing to improve the lot of ordinary people, instead going to war on poor children, pensioners, the disabled, the sick, our NHS and on the public’s access to real doctors and nurses.

But a rare moment of honesty has made explicit what we all knew – and Labour barely bothered to hide ever since its zombified corpse got into government.

  1. Steering is thinking we need a DOGE because he is out of ideas about constructive change. Scrapping NHS England in itself is not bad but to do so to bring it under more direct government control is the opposite of what is needed. Unshackle the NHS from government control and give it to the medical profession along with a commitment to a % of GDP (rather than obsessing over the zero sum gain of doing so with defence spending) and not to be raided like the foreign aid %. It creates a direct link between tax evasion and health provision and this easier to shame those who flagrantly pay little or no tax

  2. Steering (sic) is thinking we need a DOGE because he is out of ideas about constructive change.

Not alone, is he? The effin’ lot if them haven’t got a bleedin clue. The only surprise is that it wasn’t said on July 5th last year.

Even the libtards look a more enticing proposition across the board than this bunch of completely useless, bereft tossers.

  3. steeting has always been very dodgy rightwing in my opinion. As well as untrustworthy. About time that he said it publicly. I hope people take heed of this.

  6. Well if it walks like a Tory, takes the heating allowance away like a Tory, drops the Waspi women like a Tory, attacks the disabled like a Tory and wants to hammer the poor like a Tory then it is in all probabilty a Tory. The red rosette and tie they hide behind won’t change that.

    1. Weasly screeching giving a visual demonstration to the question: What is wee stevie gobshite’s preferred method of taking it up his ‘arris??

  7. It will be interesting to see what happens to the remit of Local Commissioning Groups
